Absolutely the best Customer Service in Calgary. We always thought of getting a Hot Tub Spa and came across The Spa Spot at the Calgary Home Show. Zero sales pressure and true honesty in answering all of our question. From the initial sale to installing and after care they are amazing. Cole (Colton) is old school customer service you rarely get these days which is inherent from the overall owner Kyle. We chose the Maax Spa Model 480 6 person which is top quality in all aspects. If you read to this point, and want a Spa save yourself some time, chose The Spa Spot as you will have no regret. Interested in the details backing this all up read on. 1) Ordered at the Calgary Home Show with 100% refundable deposit, as we had to investigate the electrical install costs. 2) As my backyard does not have an accessible pathway they covered the cost to have it craned to the back yard. Cole made this very easy to arrange and actually was not a big deal. 3) We received a great price with included installation, year supply of chemicals/filters. Zero hidden costs. Kyle verbally gave me some incentives outside of the agreement which he fully made good on as well. 4) Cole installed our Hot Tub in 3 hours on a Sunday morning and showed us how to operate and maintain. We were in the hot tub by 7pm that night as it heated from scratch very fast. 5) We could call, text or email Cole and he would answer any questions we had. Imagine someone actually answering when you call them and truly cares about us having a great experience. 6) Both Cole and Kyle (The owner) supported us through the whole process including the electrical requirements and even supplied the needed Spa Kit. We had to install an energy management system (not a big deal in the end) as this was required from the City of Calgary to keep under our 100amp panel limit. See picture to see what an energy management system looks like. Just budget some extra costs as the City is requiring this for Car chargers as well if your panel is going over your panel limit. We had a minor blip with the city permit and The Spa Spot supplied an upgrade to our Spa Kit as no cost. I bet other hot tub companies in Calgary would not have done that. Cole also worked with our chosen electrician to ensure the electrical was done as required. 7) The lift kit was included and installed by Cole as well. This actually adds bonus privacy as you can see from one of my pictures. Super easy to open and close as well. 8) The Maax Spa 480 6 person unit has UV filtering which reduces the amount of chemicals you will need to use. After 4 weeks the water is still super clean/clear and have not needed to add the chlorine shock chemicals to date so the UV actually works as intended. The above and close up picture was taken today showing the water still clear. The massage jets are plentiful and has 2 motors. Love the waterfall feature along with the multicolour lights that you can select the colours you want. We cycle the colours. The temperature does not fluctuate at all as the insulation is best in class. 8) Easy to maintain and quick support from Cole at the Spa Spot. 9) We have had this for 4 weeks now and are in it almost every day. We sleep really well because of this Spa. 10) As I needed to build a pad for the hot tub, Cole walked me through this and even gave me options to where I can get the crushed stone that I needed. 11) We did not even need to register for the warranty as Cole did this for us. 12) Our biggest hurdle to overcome was the electrical which was fully supported by Cole and Kyle. For any hot tub my biggest advise is be realistic in some added costs which are well worth it when you are relaxing in your new Spa. If you want a Hot Tub, swim spas or other spa products look no further. Customer Service, quality products with someone you can trust.

Recently had an issue with a window sensor falsely going off in the middle of the night which was very frustrating as it took about 3 weeks to stop the false alarms. It was a manager I was dealing with (Dave) initially which was not a great experience as he basically ghosted me. Then I was able to connect with Gerald who I dealt with in the past who immediately fixed the issue. If it was not for Gerald I may have switched to a new provider as I did have 2 other quotes. Gerald also made it right to fix my window sensor and upgrade my connection equipment (GSM cellular) enabling using the Alarm dot com App along with adding a glass break sensor waiving the labour cost for the 3 weeks of frustration I had which was the deciding factor to stay with United Alarm. Gerald was very responsive and helped with any questions or concerns I had. Arthur came to do the installation which is the same tech that originally installed installed my previous upgrades. He is a fantastic tech by the way. Back history I have been with United Alarm for about 7 years now. Had a small unit in a condo previously then almost 5 years ago purchased a house with an existing DSC system which I expanded to add a few more sensors such as Smoke, flood and temp which was a 5 star experience as well. I understand that United has gone though some changes but as long as they have great people like Gerald and Arthur they will be a 5 star company.

Was very excited about have liquid aeration done. Booked the service and was not notified when before they randomly showed up. Luckily my wife was home to unlock the gate. They did not cover my whole lawn missing a lot of areas. This was confirmed when viewing my video cameras. Called to voice my concern and they did not really care to resolve this besides saying they would speak to the technician. Now I will have parts of my lawn not aerated. Also they said it was normal to not cover the whole lawn. Stay away from them as they don't seem to care about customer service.
