I only have good things to say. The Carson Dunlop office was extremely responsive in setting up an appointment for the time and date we requested. The inspector who attended at the house we were interested in purchasing, Gordon Mathieu, was punctual, knowledgeable and keen to educate us. The new 4-bedroom house we looked at was, on the surface, move-in ready. However, Gordon pointed both the minor and major details that were incomplete which, to our untrained eyes, seemed perfectly fine. With the newly-acquired information in hand and a coloured PDF report that same day, my husband and I were able to properly itemize the outstanding or problematic issues which should be fixed by the builder prior to closing. The report put us in a good negotiating position. Without having invested the $640, we would have overlooked many things which would no doubt cost alot more money down the road to fix. I highly recommend Mr. Mathieu.
