Lawnsavers has restored our lawn to a lush green carpet overcoming damage by insects and excessive shade. Nick from Mr. Rooter conducted a diagnostic and determined the cause was a Delta cartridge. He was thorough and a pleasure to welcome into our home. We have asked that his name be registered on our account to attend future service calls. The office staff was courteous and made a follow up call the next day to ensure our satisfaction. The element missing, was that the call was a sincere call not a request or nag to write a review which is increasing becoming a common business practice. Finding good people in the trades is becoming increasing difficult, but at least now I have a plumber.

Had a very, very heavy 6 foot wood dresser to be moved from the garage to second storey bedroom. Michael, Ives and Simon arrived as scheduled, shrink wrapped the dresser with drawers in place, covered the wood stairs, up it went despite the tight bends, removed shrink wrap, assisted as we added felt pads, dresser moved in place, Job done! Damage to floors, doors, walls and curious cat - absolutely none. Attitude: at the level of “Can I adopt these guys”. Have found the company for all my future moving needs including that piano that I want for Christmas.

Every homeowner fears the unknown when having to find a service whose work will affect the appearance of their home for a prolonged period of time. I am no different. I researched the reviews, crossed my fingers and contacted Glenwood. Steve, the owner, came out and costed the job, addressing my concerns about various trees and told me what was necessary, but just as important, what was not. Over 2 punctual appointments: Luke, Ciara, Ryan and Chris fertilized and trim our trees and 4 weeks later they are absolutely spectacular including an ailing Linden. They were fully equipped for the job including a very formidable ladder truck used to clear growth away from my roof to foil the traveling of raccoons as Steve suggested. Each and every member of the crew were courteous, professional and pleasant. It truly a pleasure to have them on the property. Glenwood is very deserving of the accolades that it has received in Homestars and is now in CAPS in my Apple Contacts. I look forward to dealing with them as future needs arise.

Sam arrived on time for every meeting, did a though examination of our property and home to evaluate our risks and security needs. Despite our changing our minds at a few points over cosmetic preferences, he remained accommodating and professional throughout. There was no sales pressure or any attempts to sell up to product that exceeded our needs. He remained in contact throughout the process to insure our satisfaction. Steve the installer, cleaned up the "spaghetti wiring" and "patches" of our prior suppliers, and cheerfully integrated our existing security equipment into a new a advanced SafeTech control panel. Steve in the type of installer you wish every company would use, a perfectionist who wants the job done right. Units installed and tested and wiring hidden and organized. Not a speck of dust or dirt left to clean up after. Nick who installed our CCTV camera monitoring system and video doorbell, was like Steve, in that doing the job meant doing it right. Cameras installed discretely, wiring invisible and wireless connection to your iPad setup, tested and then training provided until you are comfortable using it. When Nick leaves and says "Any problem, call me", you know that it is a genuine promise of continued support and not merely a perfunctory statement. We had A&A Masonry replace our chimney, apply “Rubaroc” to our veranda floor and build a concrete foundation for our new shed. There was a professional attitude and a genuine desire to provide superior customer service demonstrated by every member of this company with whom we dealt. The work was completed on time and at the quoted costs. There were no hidden fees or bumps in costs. All results were extremely satisfactory and the “Rubaroc” provided a stunning solution to a long surface crack in the concrete floor of our veranda. The cleanup was spotless. There are several companies who offer services similar to A&A Masonry. I have had work done by others, and before finding Homestars and A&A Masonry, previously made the wrong choices. Sometimes I was seeking lower prices, and sometimes it was that I believed in promises that were not met. The results were projects that extended long beyond deadlines and a chimney that A & A had to replace 4 years after it had been improperly repaired by others. If they were consulting with a customer and unavailable, a call to Corrine shortly resulted in a reply to the inquiry from another staff member. (If you have ever dealt with a company that only has an answering machine, you will truly appreciate Corrine’s services, and John and Darren’s quick response). Professionalism – Brayton, Daniel and Horatio are truly craftsmen who take pride in the quality of their work, paying great attention to detail and who are willing to work hard to ensure the customer is happy with the results. When they worked on the veranda, they were unwilling to leave until it was finished and asked to borrow work lights to complete the task. Then, I had to literally insist that they leave because they wanted to clean up the site before going, despite it being very late and even though they were coming back the next morning. Brayton came on a Saturday to fix a tiny blemish which was not visible unless the light shone on it in a certain way. Thank you A&A Masonry.
