We had 2 trees pruned by Bartlett in late February 2015. This is the second time we've used them, and they were excellent both times. They are extremely knowledgeable and professional. The certified arborist always does the consultation and quotation, and advises us on what the maximum pruning can be to preserve the look and health of the trees. They won't do a "hack job" just because you might want one! The crew who did the work were very respectful, hardworking and QUIET! Hardly any power tools, and they didn't damage any surrounding plants, etc. The cleanup was excellent, and they even chipped a bunch of other garden clippings I had, no charge! I would highly recommend this company if you love your trees and want to maintain them in the best possible way.

We hired Bartlett to provide pruning services to 4 trees on our property, a couple of which had been brutalized by another supposedly very reputable company a couple of years ago. We love our trees, and want to enhance and preserve them, not have them chopped away at to fit an ugly and artificial ideal. So, we contacted Bartlett, and had Darren Silcox come out (rep for Maple Ridge area) to do the assessment. He was prompt, personable, and very knowledgeable, being a certified arborist. He made reasonable recommendations, listening and responding to my questions, and very quickly provided a reasonable quote. Getting the work scheduled was a little bit of a runaround, as Darren went away on vacation for a while in the interim, which I didn't know. Anyway, he finally got back to me about the best time to come, and the crew turned up promptly. I really liked that Darren was there to walk the crew through the job, making sure they understood the work. Once that was done, he left, and Dennis and Tim (?) took over. What terrific guys! Due to our previous bad experience with a different company, I watched them the entire time, to make sure what they were doing was what I and Darren had discussed. They were so careful and precise, and asked me a few questions as small decisions came up. Dennis especially was a real tree pro, with all the correct rigging and safety gear, and tree knowledge. He was SO meticulous. They then cleaned up the whole site, and left no damage at all to all my plants. Plus, as an added bonus, they weren't power-tool happy, and used them only as needed at the minimum volume. The trees look great, and they have put them back on the road to health and beauty. Thanks guys! You've restored my faith.

We needed to have someone hook up our existing bathroom fan to our newly-installed roof cap, and was recommended to Big Valley. They were great. Very knowledgeable, reasonably priced, courteous. The installer, Terry, was quick, professional, and pointed out that our roof cap was possibly leaking (brand new roof job!) so that ended up saving a lot of damage. He hooked up insulated ductwork very quickly with no mess. I`d recommend Big Valley for any ventilation needs. They seem like the experts around here (Maple Ridge).

We selected Centra Windows to replace 4 aluminum windows in our mid-70's home. They were very professional and helpful the whole way through the process: the salesman Mark, the showroom staff, and especially the installers Sam, Kyle and Tyler. These guys worked SO hard, showed up on-time, were very polite, protected our floors with drop sheets, cleaned up thoroughly after they were done, and generally were a pleasure to deal with. Their work was top notch, they really knew what they were doing. I was so pleased with the end result, especially my "dream" item, which was a beautiful garden window. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, especially since I really shopped around and compared windows from other places. For quality, peace of mind, and professionalism, you get what you pay for, and these guys are worth it.
