Cobblestone Patio, Walkway and Landscaping repair
I very much wanted to add a ground level patio area and walkway from the back of my home to the front driveway pad. I skis required removal of seas shrubbery from a front bed. I hired Gino’s Landscaping as I did my research and the reviews regarding Gino, Franco and Matt were outstanding. My experience was the same. They are all great to work with. They offered up great suggestions which I am happy I proceeded with as it truly enhanced the overall project. I am beyond pleased. Great workmanship, attention to detail, accommodating and on time and clean up daily. I strongly recommend this firm. They definitely are there for the customer. Hard to find these days.
My stone garden wall bricks were leaning and falling over. I went to Homestars looking for landscaper recommendations. Homestars actually through their site resulted in my job needs being shared out and A&K Masonry expressed interest. Ayman came out quickly to view the area and to discuss how he would repair and confirmed he could come within 4 business days. Meeting him and reading the reviews re A&K Masonry decided to select them. Worked completed today. So pleased with the work. Ayman is a pleasure to work with. Wonderful customer service and dependable, quality workmanship.

Furnace and water tank installation
I recently upgraded my 25 year old furnace and water tank. I always had my furnace maintained annually by Arpi’s and have always been happy with their service and the technicians I had the pleasure of dealing with. Furnace installation and water tank done on time and in timeline specified. Received valuable information re furnace choices for my consideration from the project manager with no pressure and valuable information regarding provincial energy saving grant and steps to follow. They handle the submission as well vs the customer. Very happy with this purchase and the company and staff a pleasure to work with.

I read the reviews on Homestars for arborists. I obtained 4 quotes. The best reviews were for Turning Leaf and their quote the best. Today the work was completed which consisted in pruning/trimming a Schubert chokecherry, pear tree and the removal of dead wood from 3 spruce trees. I am so happy with the work done. My trees look very nice. A job well done. I met Blaine when he came to provide and I appreciated his honesty and advice. Definitely my arborist from now on.

Window and Door replacement with Karl and Supreme Windows
An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. I love my new doors as when it was cold I did not feel cold air seeping in around the edges. The French patio door is such a strong door ... Front door is beautiful especially where the glass is and with Christmas lights outside as they reflect in the glass and create such a beautiful effect. I sometimes just stand there and look at it because it is like looking into a kaleidoscope. The house feels cozy at this temp but at higher temps still chilly ... That is not to say I am not happy with my purchase ... I am. Love my windows and doors. Of all the work I had done in 2013, the windows were the least disruptive and problematic.
