We really should have looked here first. We hired Hollywood Floors because it was local, family run and undercut other quotes. Like the other writers, we have been waiting for the completion of a very small job. We have been given the run around and excuses exactly as the history outlined in the other reviews. we have been living without a kitchen for 3 weeks because she said she could not install the floors properly without tearing out the cabinets. We did that demolition ourselves. They did not start on the agreed start dated. they did not show up for an entire week and left us without even a subfloor. The work is very shoddy - including a 2 foot goudge in the middle of the kitchen, in TEAK!!!!! They finished laying the floor, promised to fix the goudge, the dimples, the splintering, etc. etc. etc. They left us with the garbage in the middle of the floors. We cleaned it ourselves so that we could do a proper inventory of how poorly the job was done. Josie says she will be there in an hour and then no one shows up - everyday!!! Since contracting with her, the store on St. Clair has closed and she is working out of her van. THAT SAYS IT ALL! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
