I usually write reviews right after the work is done but completely forgot to do that. Now that we are moving and need some more crown moulding and wainscotting I remembered I had never written a review the first time. Clearly we were happy if we want to use Expert again. The team did a great job. They did crown throughout our first floor and up the stairs to the upper hall. They were professional and very easy to deal with. They made a fantastic use of our space and one feature window we had. All our guests comment on it. They also did boxes for “wainscotting” and it looks fantastic. When we went to sell our house it photographed beautifully. Plus, they finished it in a day! Now 3 years later the excellent workmanship still shows! We would not hesitate to hire them again. And so we are!

I can’t say enough about CJ the woodworking wonder who works for Green Side Up. Last year he built the outer shell of our cabana and this year once we were ready he came back and finished the inside. It looks amazing! From the inside you feel like you are in a log cabin! He even custom designed the bar ledge for us and tiled it with a Santa Fe/Mexican theme. I can’t say enough about his creativity and the finished product. Thank you Jay from Greenside Up! We love our cabana!

We needed several rooms in our home painted (living room, dining room, lower and upper hall and foyer as well as all the new wainscotting that had been installed before they arrived. The team arrived on time and set up quickly. They were pleasant and professional. Unfortunately the paint store dropped off the wrong paint colour for one of the rooms and it went on several walls before we discovered this. The team couldn't have handled it better. The manager called me and after some short discussion agreed to send a different team out the next day just to fix that area so we wouldn't have to live with all of our furniture shoved into one room for more than a night. The manager also came personally to check the work and make sure we were happy with it. I would recommend them highly.

I can’t say enough about how thrilled we are with our backyard transformation. It went from an old sagging deck and mainly unusable space to a stunning oasis for my family. Jay and his crew were amazing every step of the way. Their carpentry was top notch and they built us a gorgeous deck and pool cabana but the “crowning glory” is our awesome pool. We chose the St Lucia model and the install went so smoothly. jay and his team offered several recommendations for the stone around the pool and I’m so glad we went with their suggestions. Everyone who has come by comments on the gorgeous stone we chose. jay’s crew was so lovely - polite, unbelievably hard working and they take real pride in their work. The foreman Matt was a real pro - he ran his team and site like clockwork. You can see how well we got along from our final picture together. As a homeowner I’ve dealt with many contractors and I can honestly say none has been so responsive and transparent as Jay. He answered every message from me almost immediately and if he didn’t have the answer he always said he would get back to me as soon as he knew the answer and he did just that - every time. Our project required a lot of trust in Jay and his company and we were not disappointed. He and his crew also re-did our front driveway interlock and our house looks brand new. Our family was in the pool non stop from the day it was completed and loved every minute of it. The local pool service/supply company came by today to close it and they were blown away by the job Jay had done. The technician said it was one of the best pool projects he has seen (and obviously they see a lot). Thank you so much Jay and Greenside Up for turning our backyard into an oasis we never want to leave.
