I hired Perry to clean up a 2 bd apartment about a month ago. Old tenants moved out after living there for 3 years. We discussed the scope and my expectations for a deep clean. He did the job more or less well. He pulled the electric range and the fridge away from walls to clean behind them, cleaned the baseboards, the kitchen, etc. Far from how I usually do it myself but I passed it. 2 weeks later he asks me if I have another project for him. So I let him do the same kind of 2bd upstairs where the tenants struggled to keep things clean. Same quote, same quote, same expectations. Perry sent an invoice but I was away from Peterborough and couldn't come and check it out. So I paid him without checking. Several days later I came by and found out that the apartment's floors in the ketches as well as baseboards were cleaned very poorly and in some places not touched at all. When I texted him, he apologized and said that he had a trainee doing this job, that he will come and fix it. A few days later he said he can't do the job because his mother is sick and he must be with her at the hospital. Then he changed his narrative and said that he can't do the baseboards because of some sort of liability. Rubbish. Long story short, Perry never came back to finish the job. He left dirty floor under and behind the appliances. He left most baseboards out. All in all Perry left the apartment at 50% completion but charged me for the whole unit. I am attaching some pictures here for you to see what I mean. My advise, stay away from this company, especially landlords who may trust him because of one or two jobs he may have done relatively well before. Don't ever pay him until you check everything. Perry, you should come back and correct your mistakes to stay happy in your business. You can't be successful leaving the mess like this behind.
