I've now hired Kia for two large, very different jobs. He came recommended to me as the best and he has never disappointed. Kia is always the best value, is incredibly thorough, gives excellent recommendations and always makes sure that you are getting what you want. His guys are always really nice and considerate and they work hard to get the job done. Kia has gone above and beyond for my family and I can't recommend him enough. The first job was a knob and tube removal on an old house that we gutted. It was a full electrical upgrade: pot lights, outlets, fixtures. (~$8,000 or so) The second job was priginally upgrading and installing some fixtures, potlights and outlets an in a 1970s finished place. But it became an sneaky aluminum removal becase the original hidden electrical was dangerous and amateurishly done which made for a difficult job hunting for junction boxes in mysterious places. Kia was less expensive than the locals and he did an excellent and tidy job and Kia and his guys drove out of their way to help us out with this job. (~$15,000) The best.

Harold is a rare contractor: meticulous, skilled and, most importantly, honest. We bought an old house that needed roof work on two flat roofs. We were referred to Harold and I'm very glad we were. Harold brought me up on to the roof and we went over everything that needed to be done. He had photos of the work that needed doing so that he could show me exactly what would happen. It turned out that we had five layers of old roof -- all soggy and rotten. Harold and his team showed up exactly when they said they would, protected our neighbour's house and did quick, excellent work. We also had him do the gutters and installed a skylight. Our final bill was exactly what was quoted and exactly on the timeline that he provided. We even had to call him back to fix some damage to the roof that was done when a plumber removed our stack. He and one of his guys came early on a Saturday and didn't just patch but really fixed the issue. I also got quotes from other roofers and Harold was the least expensive and he was far more detailed and knowledgeable the other (very professional) roofers. Can't recommend him enough. Kia and his team are excellent and I would highly recommend to anyone. Kia came when he said he would, gave us a very fair price and was thoughtful and forward-thinking when planning lights and outlets working with us to ensure that the plan met our real-life needs. He and his team did quick, detailed work on-time and completely within the budget we agreed upon. He even came back after the job was done to fix some mistakes that I made when planning outlet locations. Bottom line: Kia is an honest professional with decades of experience. He charges a very fair price for his work and he is a good man.

I contacted A1 Quality Chimney to schedule the cleaning and inspection for the fireplace and they were able to come the same day. Their pricing was excellent and the technician was very courteous and professional.
