Cut three times and measure once???
Witnessing the technician attempt to find a leak was worse than watching a train wreck. Not only did he struggle with cutting the ceiling (both hand tool & saw), he seemed very uncertain of what he was doing. Hence the hesitation cuts (as shown in the photos). After the 3rd massive hole, he decided to measure the distance of the toilet above to where he should have started. I was reminded that he was not responsible for the repairs to the ceiling multiple time during his demolition. I'm very even tempered and continued to have faith that he would make the necessary repairs and at a reasonable price. After the demolition was completed, the technician was still unable to identify any issues related to the leak! It doesn't end there.. moving on to the other leak from the master ensuite. How about we cut more oversize holes!!! With my help, the technician was able to identify a leak coming from the shower drain. Don't worry he says, it shouldn't be a big job. His phone rings, he takes a call from his fellow plumber outside, returns back into the house and things dramatically change... here comes the fear mongering. This is going to be a big job suddenly and I should be expecting an estimate by end of day. I'm left with a ~ $500 bill 4 holes and 6 hours later...keep in mind this was for his disastrous visit only. To make matters worse, the technician cut 4 irregular sized holes in the ceiling..3 of which were greater than 8"x8" making any patch job a nightmare. I almost forgot to mention, the technician also used his ladder on my coffee table! Here's the icing on the cake... I get an invoice not by end of day as he promised, but a couple days after he damaged my house. To add insult to injury, the estimate they provided was $6000!?!?! Are you kidding me? I what i experienced, I was already thinking that I wouldn't even hire these people for the job even if they only charged a penny. I work long hours and don't have the time for games. I just finally got around to patching up the ceiling and writing this painful review. This company should ONLY stick to unclogging drains as their positive reviews suggests. A relative visited and made all repairs for for less than $600. This company needs to rectify this matter as I'm still dumbfounded by their service. Stay far away from these people.
