This review is for Frank's Bro Landscaping. 3500+ sqft of paver and small fence work was completed by Frank and his crew in Oct 2021. Worksmanship was *ok*. Short fence area and gates were satisfactory. Paver grade was the lowest and cheapest, not quite as I had expected (Frank assured I will be happy; so much for that). Overall the laying job was tidy, but there were a few surprises which were not advised upfront, such as required retaining wall due to grade (additional $2000); back yard paver right-angle retaining wall was irreversibly installed far from right-angle - more like V-angled; and he did not provide nearly enough sod replacement as had been agreed, for which I had to purchase separately and DIY for a other $700 out of pocket. Over the winter, there were a few sunken pavers issue as well as a cracked pvc piping for downspout drainage, both of which is part of 5 year worksmanship guarantee. Contacted Frank in March 2022 regarding issues, and he assured that they'd be fixed as soon as weather is favorable. It's now mid-sept 2022 and he's ghosted, such that he hasn't responded to my repeated calls/msgs in the past month. This gives me the impression of an unscrupulous, dishonest opportunist who, once he takes your last instalment, tries to avoid you, with the assumption that there's plenty of business for him.
