Our kitchen cabinet maker pointed us to Sue Su at Utopia Stone for quality granite approx 2/3 price of other granite countertop retailers. The store is NOT fancy. The young "help" on site the 3 times we were there was not overly informed or helpful. However the selection of granite was good range of colours, prices & quality levels. Glad we were told to "deal with Sue". We were allowed to "go out back" to see large slabs of granite. As the stone we chose was luxury level & we needed 5 x 6' island & 36 ft of running counter- We actually went to their warehouse in Richmond to select & mark the exact pieces of stone for each area in new kitchen (IE most unique striations chosen for island). Sue came to our home to measure. Her work was absolutely precise & the cuttings were spot on.

After searching every furniture store on United Blvd & around town & looking to custom order from Toronto or US manufacturers, a designer put is onto Stylus Made to Order Sofas. A designer's pass is required to enter showroom. Stylus has hundreds of fabrics to select from & full line of designs, sizes of chairs & sofas and customize depth of sofa deck, cushion firmness etc. We ordered two apartment size love seats in upgraded fabric. The agreed upon delivery time was met. We are thrilled with the quality of construction & know these are a "life time" purchase. You cannot direct order - must go through designer or custom furniture store (EG. Valley Direct). There are no "price lists" shared at factory but we found prices were competitive or better than most quality furniture stores we checked out. For unique & quality upholstered furniture we would return to Stylus.
