Lampert renovations did our master bathroom redo at the end of June beginning of July. The end result is incredible. Beyond our expectations. The whole process was pretty much seamless. We went with them because we wanted a one stop shop. We do not have time to shop around to find everything and then be home to receive it all. The showroom has all the material to look at including catalogues and other options. They do all the ordering and all the receiving/delivering. Lawrence is very knowledgeable and straight forward. Their quote was high, we have to admit. Much higher than what we had planned on investing in this bathroom renovation and it was absolutely worth it. Price did not change throughout the process which is always a fear with any renovation. After we picked everything (about 3 hours), put a deposit down, we waited exactly the amount of time that we were told it was going to be which was around 8 weeks. We moved out of the floor where this master bathroom was to give the team space to store their tools and all the materials. We covered our furniture as best we could and they did as well. I was impressed to see floor runners all over the house. From the beginning it was apparent that Ihor and team cared to do a good job. They were a serious, meticulous and pleasant team who worked tirelessly each day. Addressed any concern and consulted with us when choices needed to be made. We were told it the renovation would be around 4-5 weeks. It took 4 weeks + 2 days. The last days were really just cleaning up and they even asked our son where the vacuum was. We first contacted Blue Circle Contracting in April of 2012. Asking around in our community, this company was one that had done many landscaping projects in our neighbourhood, and came very highly recommended. We dealt mainly with Mark Somani. During our first meeting, he brought us a portfolio of the work his team had done. The range of projects was very impressive. We had partly drafted our own design, which included front yard landscaping, a natural stone walkway, tiling of the front stairs and porch with matching stone, and lastly, changing the existing aluminum railing to glass railing. Mark was determined to stay within our budget and got back to us within a week with a detailed quote. A few points had to be altered or clarified and Mark was very receptive to the changes we wanted made. Once we agreed to the contract, we were given a timeline for the work to be completed. Mark was pretty much right on as far as when the various parts of our project were going to be started, how long it would take, and the final price. We were impressed with the payment schedule, with the biggest chunk being due at completion of each part. The different teams doing the work were all very professional, quick, efficient and knowledgeable. They were also considerate of our neighbours and a clean-up was done every time before they left for the day. Very much appreciated since our neighbours are so close! We had a big wishlist of the shrubs and flowers we wanted. We discussed with Jim which ones would fit our design the best, and he gave us a few different ideas. Everything came together beautifully and we could not have been happier with the landscaping! It took a while longer for the glass railing to come in but deciding on which ones we wanted took us some time. The timing was still within what Mark had predicted. There was a defect in one of the glass panels installed (deep scratch) and that was replaced once the new panel was received. It was a manufacturer defect and Mark made sure that it was going to be fixed. We are so happy with the total work done on our front yard. It looks gorgeous and it feels good to see heads turn, people walk by and come back to take a closer look! we have no doubt that we will be enjoying our landscaping for seasons and years to come! we would definitely use Blue Circle Contracting again and would highly recommend them.
