Sean with Clearview was fantastic! He noticed that we had a faulty thermostat from Nest, and insisted to call them and deal directly with their technical support. He managed to get them to send us a new thermostat. I'm positive that if Sean hadn't done that, I would have been out of pocket for a new thermostat. Thanks Sean! Every one at Clearview were cheerful and helpful!

We hired PlanIt to complete our basement renovation on our 8 year old home. We we had one main room and a bathroom for the project. In all respects and even talking with PlanIt the project was expected to be completed in around 8 weeks. 6 months later the project was finally completed. There was constant delays due to poor management and lack of planning. Contractors would show up without the materials being delivered. It was really poorly managed. In terms of quality of work, I would say they were satisfactory. The build quality met the minimum standards and the trades were good to deal with. They didn't seem to put a lot of time into the quality of their work and for the premium PlanIt charges I expected a better product. Finally, they changed the plan without notifying us or seeking our approval. The plan represents a contractual obligation so it is troubling to see them take that lightly. So for the extra cost from PlanIt builders you are better off searching elsewhere. Between the mediocre quality, the poor management and the complete lack of communication I would suggest that everyone skip this contractor, especially considering the premium this company charges.
