Bumped to R50. Mark's guys were on time, efficient, hardworking, polite, and honest. They ran out of weatherstripping for the hatch during the installation, and Mark proactively followed up and arranged a second visit to finish that in a timely manner. Wish there are more contractors like these guys!
Had some confusions, but sorted out to satisfaction eventually as both parties decided to cancel the contract at the end because job didn't seem feasible and Ryan returned my deposit. So no hard feelings. Probably because windows are not Ryan's specialty and he underestimated the cost when he quoted me the quote, perhaps wrought iron is more his expertise since that's the what he say his company does mainly. I may try him again in the future if I decide to do wrought iron inserts in the future.
Wang came to my door as part of the Enbridge Free TAPS program to upgrade our thermostat, insulate water heater pipes, and install energy efficient shower heads. He was very efficient and professional about the job even though we weren't paying him directly.
