I've had the pleasure of hiring John and his crew for a number of jobs and until recent, have been satisfied with his work. This time around I hired John to remove and install a sliding door, install vinyl flooring and paint. After providing a verbal quote (he will not do written quotes) and 5 days into the project, he refused to finish installing the sliding door and wanted to triple the cost to complete the vinyl flooring. Throughout discussions to try and mediate the problem and find a reasonable resolution, he became verbally abusive, threatening and extremely unprofessional. The firm walked off the job, resulting with me having to scramble to find an alternate contractor to complete the project. After this experience, I would not recommend Perfect Painting & Repair.
