We had a garage door with a second doorway (for people) right next to it.
The garage door, while adequate, was not wide enough to comfortably back in a larger vehicle.
The adjacent doorway was not incredibly useful so we decided to remove this entire setup ad replace it with an extra wide garage door, plus put in a garage door opener.
There is an issue with low clearance in our garage that we were concerned about for the garage door opener.
One of our neighbours had the exact same job done and the results looked great. They told us to contact Steve with Open Sesame and we're very glad we did.
Steve came on site and was able to give an idea of the time/price for the work.
Because of the low clearance Steve recommended a Jack Lift door opener which was a bit of a pricier option, but was needed to deal with the issue.
We had another company come in to provide an estimate as well.
They did not appear as confident as Steve and didn't seem to have any real insight on what to do about the clearance issue.
So we went ahead with Open Sesame even with the other company providing a slightly lower quote.
Once the garage door was up, Steve saw that there was enough room for a more traditional/cheaper unit and recomend that instead.
I was very surprised and impressed by this since really Steve could have just gone ahead and charged me for the more expensive unit and called it a day.
I highly recommend Open Sesame.
Our garage door is working great for our needs and our neigbour is still quite heppy as well.
