We hired Mario at Coppersol to do a bunch of small electrical jobs in our home, including installation of ceiling fans, new receptacles, and an energy monitoring current clamp in our breaker panel. His work was efficient, tidy, and professionally done, and in discussing our plans, he clearly explained what is and isn't permitted by the Ontario electrical code. I found this refreshing, as many other electricians I spoke to seemed to exaggerate the need for new hardware or wiring, in an effort to up-sell and inflate the cost of the work. I solicited several quotes for this work from electricians through Homestars and Kijiji, and found Coppersol's rate to be very competitive. Overall I would be happy to hire Coppersol again for jobs like this.

We hired Phil at Pinnacle to install vinyl strip flooring over an existing tile floor in our basement. There was a miscommunication about one aspect of the job, but Phil's work was overall very professional, efficient, and tidy, and the floor now looks great. I got 3-4 quotes for this job from various GTA flooring installers and found Pinnacle to be priced very competitively relative to other estimates I received. I would be happy to hire Pinnacle again for other flooring projects.

We had Persian Rug Specialist clean a small Persian rug for us (drop-off service at the St Clair / Vaughan Road location). This company runs a very "straight ahead" operation, the staff were friendly and the work was done well. Pricing, based on quotes I obtained from other companies, was very competitive.

We called Mark from House Depot to diagnose, and eventually replace, a malfunctioning furnace blower fan. We were very satisfied with his knowledge and honesty (he is a straight-shooter, and a less scrupulous tradesman could have easily taken advantage of people in our situation) and the work was done efficiently. Mark was also easier to get a hold of than many other HVAC firms. Recommended.

We hired Mister Plumber to replace the private portion of our lead water service pipe with copper. Vlad visited outside of business hours to provide a quote, provided a description of the work via e-mail, then scheduled a date for the job. His estimates of the time required to do the work ended up being quite accurate. His team was punctual, worked steadily through the day and cleaned up nicely when they were done. Overall, a smooth and very business-like transaction at a very fair price.
