Aya from Grandeur Interiors contracted Kitchen Crafters to manufacture and install cabinetry at her home / showroom.
We ended up going above and beyond that work to help her project get to a finish line.
Our process is very organized and detailed. Aya is neither of these.
We educated her and her husband contractor on many details surrounding the project outside of cabinetry.
There was a major lack of focus on the details and the drawings. After final selections and fabrication, they insisted on us reworking items and did not want to pay for their oversights...
- Aya accidentally sent and signed off the wrong cabinet colour and wanted us to remake all the doors.
- Aya sent the wrong appliance details for two appliances, and cabinets had to be remade and reworked to fit.
- Aya made assumptions that our team would do additional work around the project without consulting her project manager.
We are very surprised that this review was written at all. It is embarrassing to put these details in writing here for another "designer" / "contractor."
Aya was frustrated after having to pay for her errors.
We work very diligently with all clients to ensure they make their best choices, however, clients must participate.
In this case, advice was not taken and was dismissed with arrogance.
Despite this unwarranted review, Aya's kitchen ended up being spectacular. Aya did make some really great choices with counters and colours.
