Managing maintenance and repairs for my moms home in Etobicoke from the West Coast is often a challenge. It was brought to my attention that the railing my mom uses to get from her main living area down to the front door was unstable. Harveer Grewal, PC&D Project Manager, responded very quickly to my request on HomeStars. Within just a few short days Harveer had the railing stabilized. He provided photos and videos of the work done. Communication throughout the entire project was seamless and prompt. It is the kind of service, attention and concern that Harveer provided that enables my elderly mom to continue to live safely in her home.

My mother relies on me to enable her to continue to live independently in her own home. This requires me to find services to not only take care of my mom but of her property as well. After reviewing a number of quotes I chose Luxury Landscaping to provide lawn care services for my mom. James Paniccia has met all of my expectations. He is reliable and detail oriented. The before and after pictures he sent me show that incredible care has been given to my moms lawn and garden. The previous company we were using while aware of my mothers limitations did not take them into account when providing their services. James understands and has made every effort to ensure my moms safety and comfort level for example texting me before each visit so I can prepare my mom to expect him. He communicates well in a variety of ways i.e. via email, phone or text. I feel fortunate to have James and his company as part of my moms care team.

My mom is 89 ears old, legal blind and living on her own. I manage her care long distance and now consider David to be an invaluable resource as part of her care network. I initially engaged David after my mom called me to say that her TV was no longer working. He made time almost immediately once I'd explained her circumstances. There was nothing wrong with the TV other than user error which given my moms lack of vision is understandable. Wha David did next is the difference between a good service provider and a great one. He wrapped my moms converter with tape leaving exposed only the buttons absolutely necessary to operate the TV which made it much simpler for her to use. The next opportunity we got to request Davids service was when my moms phone began acting up. Needless to say the phone is my moms lifeline. I'm not sure that fixing phones is within Davids realm of service but he was at my moms in a heartbeat. He quickly determined it was a problem with the cord and switched it out with one from a phone she uses less frequently. While this fixed the issue it made obvious the problem that the swapped cord was not long enough to enable my mom to sit in her deceased husbands chair in the living room while on the phone. Sitting there while on the phone was important to her. Once again David exceeded my expectations by purchasing a much longer cord enabling my mom to use her phone as she had in the past. He did this on his own time. In conclusion it's important to note that I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so for David. Zora Chacinski
