Very similar story to Adrian C, reviewed on Aug 29th. Mike sold me on the assessment for 99.00 at the end of August. This occurred promptly. Then, took a while to get an estimate for the repair and while I have had it for a while now, I have not been able to get them back here to actually repair the roof (now 1 month later). Several commitments from Joe, but I find I am the one to keep calling to get a response. If they don't want your business, just take it elsewhere. I did and have been happy with the results. There are more responsive roofers that have been highly rated on Homestars.

Mr. ABN, it is disappointing and truly unfortunate that your interpretation of events and timelines has lead you to posting this unfavorable review. As a matter of record, we feel it necessary to respond. It was at your request that we delay our initial quote as you were attempting to explore areas of damage outside of our purview in order to address the full scope of your issue. This was a delay of 5 days (September 2nd to 7th). Your quote was prepared and emailed 2 days later on the 9th of September. You had given us confirmation of your desire to move forward with your repair on that same day, September 9th, 2013 and were scheduled for service this past Thursday, September 26th, less than three weeks from your confirmation. A more than reasonable timeline considering industry standards. Due to some weather last weekend and unexpected complications on a project started Monday September 23rd, you were informed of the delay in our schedule on Tuesday September 24th. For you, a delay of one to two days. Unfortunately, we can not control the weather and we are unwilling to under-service a client that we are currently engaged with for the sake of schedule. A philosophy our clients have come to depend on. Most people, our clients among them, understand that this is the nature of our industry and have reasonable expectations of delivery of service. We believe your delivery of service was well within reasonable expectations as most would. In fact, we had attended your property today, Monday September 30th as per our communication last week, only to be informed of your desire to cancel your service on site... An event we had never experienced in our many years in this industry. Again, were are truly disappointed in these events and feel that the opinions expressed in your review are truly unjust and misrepresentative.

We are highly regarded because of our communicative and conscientious nature as the 300+ positive reviews we have received will attest. It is unfortunate that our relationship does not reflect that history. We can only use these experiences to better our efforts moving forward.

Direct energy fixed my hot water heater in 3 mos ago for $800. Now it is not working. Called Direct Energy. The initial service representative did not know the warranty period for the work done. The warranty was only 60d. Her supervisor, Michelle, employee # 137233 was not helpful. I could not see going with Direct Energy again given the cost, the short warranty and really no assurances that they would provide a competent repair. Bosco Home Services for me. Goodbye Direct Energy. Direct Energy - your customer representatives need to be better trained.
