Unlike some duct cleaning companies, Advanpro sends well trained people who have worked for the company for some years. Pat and Greg were courteous and prompt and answered all my questions. From the website I anticipated the cost of this service (we have 2 furnaces and 28 vents) and there were no surprises or extra costs. It appears that they did a thorough job as we can no longer smell dust when the furnace kicks in. We found we had to sweep up some sawdust from the basement floor, likely what was blown out of the ducts. We will certainly use this company again when needed.

Faced with a sudden failing of our hot water tank (rusted through in several spots and leaking onto the basement floor) I first called a company we had dealt with before. They could not come the same day until after hours and then would only look at the problem for which we'd pay after hours rates. Being a Friday we thought we might be without hot water the entire weekend. So I checked Homestars and read the reviews. I called CJL and Cody promised to arrive the same day with a new tank. He came on time, installed the tank, answered all my questions, carted away the old tank and did not charge overtime, although he was here until about 6:30 pm. A very nice man and I would call him again and highly recommend him to others.

Tanks are a mess when they go and no hot water is a real bad option. I do not charge overtime as I know how busy life gets with schedules and work so its hard to be home during the day. Thank you for you nice review and business.

This company handled my problem efficiently. The repair person, Darcy, arrived on time (2 hour window for booking), was extremely polite and friendly and discovered what the problem was. A part had to be ordered but the knob was fixed on the second visit (no charge for that one) and I was very satisfied.

This review is to follow up on my previous review posted in November. I finally received my new mattress, took it home and tried it out. I found the middle section too soft (I had ordered a 3 section mattress with a firmer middle and softer ends). I called Halstead and they offered to adjust the foam insert. I removed the insert from my mattress (it zips out), brought it back to the store, and within the same day they had replaced the middle part with a much firmer foam. That impressed me! Then in January the manager called me to ask if i was happy with it and to apologize for the delay, explaining that they had experienced a sudden staff shortage and an increase in business and could not keep up. I appreciated their call. I suggested that a phone call during that busy time to their customers might have been a good idea. Knowing the reason for the delay would have set my mind at ease.
