We had hired a contractor (heritage home improvement) for our bathroom reno and he told us he could do the plumbing. On his first challenge, moving/replacing pipes for the new rad, he told that he couldn't do it, and he wouldn't give us a refund for him not doing the work. On a recommendation we called Mike at McGrath. He may not be the cheapest plumber, but his workmanship and high level of professionalism was welcomed. During his work, he was able to spot some of the poor workmanship of the original contractor.

We had 3 contractors come to bid on bathroom renovation. The contractor that got the job ended up going over the 4 days quoted to close to a month and we had to use the police to get him out when he threatened us if we didn’t pay him the full amount when the job was only half done. The work he had done to this point was awful and his attitude was worst. On a recommendation from a friend we called Rene in and he redid most of the poor workmanship the first contractor did (incl tearing up the floor and redoing it). He didn’t want a penny until he was done and we were satisfied. His attention to detail, especially with the trim, was incredible. We would recommend Rene in a hear beat. He tells us that he also does basements.

Chris came to my home to do a quick squirrel removal. He put in a one way door and found two areas where they were getting in. He returned two weeks later and closed everything up. He then went to my mom's house who had racoons living under her sunroom. They had made a real mess and also got into the trap door of the hot tub and pulled out insulation. Chris put hooks on the hot tub panel and screened in the sunroom. He sealed every possible entrance and also cleaned up after the job. He was so very pleasnat ot my mom who is a senior and was a wonderful person to deal with. I would refer him to anyone. Thanks again Chris.

Pat & Jeff came to give me a quote two years ago now. I just stumbled on this blog and thought I would post a review. They originally quoted me on a brand name unit and at the last minute replaced the original unit they quoted me on with a Comfort Air Unit. It sounds like a jet plane taking off in my driveway. Had them back for service once after I made a complaint to the BBB. I would never recommend these people. If I had to do it all again I would have paid double to get the service and follow-up I should have received from the start. I have a manufacturer's warranty but I don't know how to get in touch with the manufacturer. Also my 5 years parts and labor warranty is no good unless I can find someone to repair and maintain it. I would be happy to share all the nightmares this so called company caused us. I can't urge you enough to pay a bit more for a unit like this. When we do it again we will always go with a reputable dealer and not a small contractor. I actually wanted to give this company my business as I felt they were small and I wanted to give them my business. Not.......
