I looked at 4 or 5 different plumbers and companies and got different solutions and ideas from each one. Some just sent out a salesman and wouldn't send a tech until a deposit was made. Others came and said that if there was any interior work that needed to happen (i.e. holes being cut in drywall), they wouldn't take care of the repair, others still, said that what we wanted wasn't possible and suggested an older system. We ended up going with Water Heater Rescue because Bill was confident about the job (disclaimer: he was referred to by a coworker of mine but there was no commitment felt or made). We put in a tankless high efficiency system and it works great. We ran into a small hiccup with the gas supply but they were able to figure out what was wrong and arranged to meet Fortis when they came out. They were professional and kept my up to date all along the way. I corresponded with Ashley via email and she was great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and will continue to call them when my unit needs checkups.

Gary was quite accommodating in the beginning in providing options, and quick in communication in sending over pricing. Gary was great in terms of accomoating my schedule in order to drop off material, however I was first put off when I wanted to discuss logistics of how the job was going to be installed and he declined to come inside the home. He told me to just discuss with the guy who was going to be doing the work the following week, fair enough. I requested that the site job be carefully cleaned up after cutting since I live in a duplex and wanted to be mindful of my neighbours. Several small requests like this weren't communicated to Tyler (who did the work) so had to be reiterated on the day. While work was being completed, it was then discovered that the cutting was happening inside the home, which I specifically requested be done outside, to minimize the dust. I felt it was too late at that point, to request all the equipment being lugged outside and re-setup. There were also some sections of the flooring I had to request be redone, but they were patched instead, with no response after I mentioned it could've taken more care (caulking was a little sloppy and I will have to redo). In terms of the product itself we are happy with it and that it was installed in less time than we anticipated.

They were super prompt to reply and able to book in a technician right away to come check my washer which wasn't draining properly. He popped the pump back in but mentioned that he might have to come back to replace it altogether if it continued to give me problems. After two loads, I had the same problem so he came back and replaced it very quickly. The second visit I was only charged for the pump ($170). Thank you!

I live in a duplex and my neighbour and I reviewed over 10 different roofing companies before decided to go with Adanac. Their solid reputation (here, cross-checked with BBB), price and communication were the deciding factors. Kurt was courteous, and responded well to our questions. While the work was happening, after very very long days in the heat, the crew cleaned up well every day. After the job was done, I asked if they could come back and clean the skylights since it was something that was mentioned they could do while they were up on our roof. Even though it's not technically part of their job, they did it promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Adanac to anybody looking to replace their roof!

High Mark plumbing was punctual, professional and courteous. They responded quickly, explained everything thoroughly and send digital photo records as well. It was great! A little pricey but you get what you pay for :)

Kevin is a rare find. I've been undergoing renovations for a while and have seen the spectrum of contractors. Kevin is top of the group. From the initial phone call, Kevin was friendly and professional. He called me the day before our appointment to confirm (usually I'm the one doing the reminding), and arrived on time (very very rare in the trades). Him and his apprentice, Tracy, were courteous, professional, straight to the point, down to earth and so charming. Their rates were very reasonable, and they worked quickly and efficiently. He even took the time (unbilled) to explain and draw notes for me when I mistakenly bought the wrong part so I could try installing a dimmer swtich myself. I appreciate the invoice being emailed promptly to me after the job was complete. I don't hesitate one bit to recommend him to others! He is a star! I only wish more contractors would be like Kevin.

Adam was very professional and prompt. He was good enough to accommodate my working schedule and stayed true to his initial estimate. Everything went as planned, which I have found, isn't the norm! I will definitely be using Adam for all my plumbing need in the future.

Kevin was prompt, friendly, professional and clean (as could be) during the entire 3-day process. He worked solid through the whole time. He accommodated my schedule and I never felt uneasy leaving my place unmanaged while he was there. I'm under doing a kitchen and bathroom renovation and have seen at least 20 contractors come and go. He is, by far, the most pleasant experience I've had with a contractor thus far. He's a perfectionist! Would highly recommend him and wouldn't hesitate one second to bring him in again for future projects.
