My 13 yo Whirlpool electric dryer suddenly stopped working with the 'sensing' light on. We 'googled' to identify + remedy the situation with no luck - we assumed after 13 years of heavy use it was likely not a repairable scenario. We called Taras at Canada Appliance Repair based on the many positive + glowing reviews and he was readily available for later that evening, that he would notify us when he was 30min away. True to his word he communicated clearly and arrived. Cognizant of the current public health concerns re: Covid Taras arrived masked appropriately and we kept our 2meter distance. It didn't take Taras long to identify the likely problem and offer the solution - belt and crank dysfunction from wear and tear. The ordered parts would take a couple of days and the quote for the required pieces was an amazing surprise. Taras could have easily inflated the pricing for the parts but he didn't. We were amazed and appreciated his honesty. We will certainly look to him for any future appliance repair knowing that he will tell us what exactly is needed and pricing will be appropriate.
