Marco had been extremely helpful, reasonable and instructive, repairing our old twenty-year old vacuum two years ago and telling us it would last for two years, which it did. Of course we decided then and there to buy our new one from him when the time came. What made this special was the service he provided throughout the process of delivery. He worked hard to facilitate the difficulties which were absolutely not of his making, and made sure that the vacuum finally arrived, offering to compensate us for the delay. We knew that Marco would resolve things and we are extremely happy with our new vacuum. Thank you, Marco!

Darla, Lucy and team have done it again, playing beat-the-clock against an inclement spring with a May 4th wedding deadline: edging, weeding, primping with their custom-designed hanging baskets to add colour and pizzazz and voila! We were wedding-ready with no help from Mother Nature, thank you. Boy was that close! Two weeks ahead of the wedding The Garden Girls arrived as a team to work for four hours, turning my tears of frustration into tears of joy. One week ahead and the weather warmed enough for me to paint the eyesore trellis a natty aubergine. Then there was a flurry of back-and-forth e-mails and photos from Lucy and Darla at the garden center, guiding me to choose the right contrast of colour and type of flowers for the dramatic baskets, their special trip to drop them off to me, and within days of the wedding the garden glowed with three gorgeous demi hanging baskets popping on the trellis. On the day of the wedding we had a splash of forsythia, green grass, stunning baskets and a few bulbs up, along with 21 degree weather. Whew! Thanks again, Garden Girls for making our dreams come true and for following through on the promise you made last fall to make the garden ready for our daughter's wedding pictures. It looked magical.

Drew installed a safe for us after reviewing possible placements and suggesting what would be appropriate for our needs. It is difficult to work with our space as the home is old and the walls are thick and the space limited. He came up with a great solution for us. The quality of the product and service were excellent. Drew is a quick study, figuring out how to work with an older, more challenging home and coming up with sensible solutions. He also installed shatterproof glass on a basement window, protecting it from the ballgames between the houses and securing it against other damage. Drew was creative in his approach, easy to talk to and highly skilled in his work. We would definitely use his services again.

I contacted Darla and Lucia and they visited me a month or so ago so that they could get to know my garden and me. I was getting a little desperate thinking about next spring because it's a big year for us and I want the garden to look just right. From the start, Darla and Lucia showed respect for and interest in what I'd tried to achieve with it but could no longer maintain on my own. She expressed appreciation for the variety of 'beautiful things' in the garden and an interest in restoring and enhancing its character, which is what I wanted. She later contacted me and suggested a fall cleanup before we tackled our spring plans. She and her team arrived promptly on the day as promised and managed to blast through several years of overgrowth, revealing all sorts of interesting possibilities. I am confident that between us, we will bring the garden back to where I want it to be. Darla has already made suggestions about how to prioritize the job. With her sensitive understanding of plants and the team's enthusiasm and energy, I can see that things will once again be set right. I am looking forward to working with The Garden Girls, instead of dreading the task of struggling to maintain the garden on my own. Thank you, Garden Girls!
