Death of a York & Birth of a Lennox!
Picture it, Friday morning 10:20 AM, January 29, 2021 - my 19 year old York 90 Furnace decided to go into a death rattle (see youtube video - Death of a York 90 Furnace). I called Spring Home and they dispatched a technician to my home within 2 HOURS!! The technician said I could replace a part (approx. $1,000) and hope for the best or replace the whole furnace. We have been a customer of Spring Home's for a few years, so I called to find out what our options were. We decided to replace our furnace with a Lennox SLP98V 65 stage furnace controlled by a WiFi thermostat!. Spring Home arranged for the new furnace to be installed the next day (Saturday January 30, 2021) and the 2 man crew arrived at 9:00 AM and installed the new furnace with no issues. The house is nice and warm, we have a modern 2 stage furnace that is SILENT - no air sound, no furnace kicking on and off, no rattling, NO NOTHING.
