Chris came by and measured my windows in my living room dining room and kitchen and assured me everything would be perfect… The installer came by two weeks later and did a fantastic job… Very happy and would recommend craftsman to anyone who would like to enhance the look of their windows ..increase the value of their home and never have to worry about curtains again… These wooden shutters look amazing open or closed .. Best investment I made for my home.. Danny

We were very pleased with Bill and his crew when they came and replaced our chimney liner... Bill is extremely knowledgeable and always makes sure that safety is a priority... Our fireplace was causing smoke in certain parts of the house .Bill suggested a liner and told us it was very important to do this work. While installing the liner Bill did extra work at no charge and repaired some bricks around the chimney... We now have a working safe fireplace. Highly recommended.. Danny... Toronto

When looking to replace my boiler with a new high efficiency system, i did the research online and realized it was all about the installation.. I got three quotes, one of them from Dave Bissonnette of Laird and son. Dave is very knowledgeable and offered several options and recommended the Viessmann Combi boiler. He assured me this was a premium boiler made in Germany with great features and very quiet, he said they have installed many of them. After thinking about it and calling Dave several times for information, I felt comfortable with his advice and booked the appt. Dave even answered my inquiries on a Sunday nite, that's great customer service. Dave said it would be a two day install and booked the appt for Nov 3 and 4th.. On Monday morning Artie and Ryan showed up and made my basement their home base for two days... The install went very smoothly and looks amazing.. These guys are truly pros. They removed my old boiler and hot water tank and bolted the new combi boiler unit to the wall, tucked in neat as pin. All the lines in and out of this complex system are a work of art .. The boiler looks so good, I now have to make the walls around it, look just as good.. From the moment Artie and Ryan showed up to the final testing Tuesday night, the team worked hard and when they left.. the basement was spotless and all my questions answered . My home is warm and the hot shower this morning was great.. I highly recommend laird and son, a very professional, established company with great technicians behind it, The work was done on time and the price quoted was honoured. Arby cartage is a great family run business... They are extremely careful reliable and always on time... All my furniture was moved into a storage room with space left over... I was sure it was not going to fit but they assured me it would... I was very impressed ,they worked very hard did not take any breaks... The truck showed up right on time at 9:00 AM.. What they quoted me was what I paid ...no surprises, great rate...You don't find that with most moving companies.. I liked their service so much.. I used them to move me out of the storage and into my new house... Great company... friendly, polite ,young men hard workers... I would recommend them to anyone.. They also managed to move quite large pieces of furniture without touching any walls or damaging any of the furniture... I was also most impressed with the fact that they rolled out carpets to protect my new hardwood floors... they know what they're doing... Thanks Arby

Chris Bowes is an amazing person... He inspected my chimney and told me it just needed to be cleaned and a crack in my firebox should be repaired to be up to code, that was great news considering the house was built in the late twenties... That same day he cleaned the chimney and a few days later came back and repaired the firebox crack with new fire bricks which.looks great ..He also went out of his way to repair and fill in some gaps in the fireplace brick that was not part of the job.. Impressed with his work and his price , I called Chris back to put two new rain hoods atop the exterior chimneys which completes the look and will keep rain and small animals out.. At the same time I asked him if he could put some cement around a newly installed dryer vent and his crew did that as well, no charge.. Wow... Chris came prepared with tarps to make sure no dirt got on our new hardwood floors and always cleaned up after the job... His main concern was our satisfaction and the safety of our home..
