Shortly after I prepared the request for a quote we received a call from the owner of Higher Place, Chris, asking if we were available for a visit from him to see the tree. Chris is an Arborist and he took a close look at our backyard sugar maple in its poor condition. He advised us that he would prepare the City of Toronto Permit filing Arborist report, remove the tree and grind the stump if that was our decision for removal. He took pictures and advised us he would email the quote. We discussed replacement trees. The next day we received and approved the quote. It was better than we had anticipated. His Arborist report was ready 7 days later. The City approved the permit a month later and Chris scheduled the removal for the following Tuesday. Chris, Sebastien and Lloyd worked all day in the pouring rain with their machines, ropes and chainsaws. When they ground the stump it took a couple of hours. A neighbour asked for some of the wood. Everything is gone and cleaned up. It was hard not to peek out the window to see the amazing machines they were operating. Thanks to Higher Place, when the fierce wind blows I can relax because before I was very worried a limb would come down and damage something or someone.

Our Atlas technician was so helpful and friendly. He goes about his work and politely notifies us when he has finished. He shut down the humidifier for the summer. He advised that the filter should be changed in a month. He asked if we had any concerns about our furnace & air conditioner. An email write-up was provided shortly after he left. Costs are part of our annual Comfort Plan. He wore his COVID-19 mask. We remain satisfied customers for many years. Thank you Lyndon and AtlasCare.

We have been Atlas customers for close to 30 years. Our furnace, humidifier, A/C and thermostat are all installed by Atlas. We have a maintenance contract every year. I talk to customer service and maintenance staff. They are all courteous, respectful of property and provide details on the latest equipment and service without pressure.
