I posted my need to have my chimney replaced due to deteriorating bricks on HomeStars and got several responses. Although all were highly rated, of the all those who responded Harry was the only one to show up to review the work. Other bidders were satisfied to use photos to quote the work and didn't make the effort to spend time with me to review all that needed to be done. This, to me, is a big thing. It showed me that I was dealing with a conscientious and committed person who understands that, as a customer there is a greater level of comfort and assurance when you get to meet the contractor and discuss what needs to be done face-to-face. Harry took the time to explain the work and provide an accurate quote. Once I confirmed with Harry to proceed he provided a schedule and the time he expected to complete the work. He was actually able to start sooner than expected which was a big plus. The work required tearing down my chimney to the roof line and rebuilding it and replacing several bricks around the house that were also deteriorating. The work was done in a day and the bricks matched and blended perfectly. The workmanship was excellent and the quality shows. They were extremely careful to protect windows and shrubs around the work area. They were thorough and there was no mess left behind. Harry was a complete pleasure to deal with, he was courteous, personable and a serious professional when it comes to his work and the results. I am absolutely pleased with the worked done and final product. In short, Harry as a professional did everything I expected as a customer. He responded, showed up, detailed the work, itemized the quote, was on time all the time, completed on time. The quality of workmanship was excellent, the results were above expectations and they left the area spotless. The quality of the individual always shows in the quality of the work. Harry is a keeper.

York Huron completed the job (double width driveway) within the expected time frame and at a very reasonable price. The overall work was well done and the team were fast and all finishes were clean, neat and even. The driveway is still young 2 weeks but it seems solid with a good amount of gravel base. Update - September 2020 Just to update and confirm that after a year my driveway still looks like new and there is no shifting, settling or any wear at all. I am still very happy with the results and York Huron's work.

Great first time experience with Reliable. We had an issue with our furnace not starting. I called Reliable based on HomeStars reviews and was contacted by Darryl the service technician and he had arranged for an afternoon appointment however he was delayed at previous jobs that couldn't be left and had to cancel. Darryl advised he could be at our home as early as I would like him to be the next day. We agreed on 7:30AM. Darryl arrived precisely at 7:30AM. I had to go to work and my wife was home. He found the problem quickly - an impressive spiders web in the venting causing a pressure imbalance preventing the furnace from starting. My wife called and told me the story and said Darryl was very personable and clearly explained what he had done. Because it wasn't anything major and because he had to re-schedule he didn't charge us. This was an unexpected and refreshing surprise and says a lot about Darryl's sense of integrity. I was very happy to get the furnace in working order since temperatures are in the low single digits overnight. Thanks a lot Darryl for everything... Reliable is now out go-to for HVAC repair and maintenance. We will be calling them soon for yearly furnace and fireplace routine maintenance.
