I would not recommend using Power Group's services, based on their post-installation customer service, and errors in their initial work. Power Group Construction (and its owner Sam), has provided extremely poor follow-up service, despite being initially very helpful and installing an attractive patio and stairs for our backyard. After the installation of the patio and stairs, we began to get moisture in our basement, immediately below the installation area of the stairs. We consulted with a couple of basement and construction professionals, they all concluded that Power Group failed to install a simple plastic moisture barrier behind the stairs, which would have prevented water/moisture entering the home. We called Sam, and he said he would come take a look at the problem, but he never showed up for the visit. We have made repeated phone calls to Sam/Power Group to try to reschedule, but they refuse to answer our calls or return our messages.

We would highly recommend using Goodboxes. Renting the moving boxes from Goodboxes was an important part of making our large move a success. The customer service was very prompt and professional; they were easy to book with, and they were very accommodating in making some revisions to our order at the last minute. The boxes were very clean, in great condition, and were a good size for packing all types of items – clothes, linens, kitchen items, toys, etc. Their pricing was very fair, and delivery and pick-up of the boxes was scheduled for a reasonable window of time, and drivers were on-time.

We would highly recommend Dinko and Augusta Movers. Our move was large – from a four-bedroom house to a five-bedroom house with lots of furniture and well over 100 boxes – and the guys handled it efficiently and with a smile. We used a four-man team and large 28 foot truck – and Augusta’s price for that level of service couldn’t be beat by the other three companies which provided us with quotes. Our final price was in-line with the quote, no last minute surprises. Dinko was very helpful in coming to our home to provide a fair quote, and discuss certain other aspects of the move (i.e. insurance, large items, truck size). He was also very accommodating and responsive via phone and e-mail as we made revisions to our original arrangements. The moving team was very pleasant, on-time, worked hard, and careful with our belongings – including shrink- wrapping and using moving blankets for our valued wood and leather furniture at no extra charge.
