DCD Landscaping replied immediately regarding the job, and came out to my home to measure and provide an in person quote. Very professional & courteous. The work involved removal of a small wooden deck, and replacement with a interlocking patio (approx 12'x12') as a foundation for my hot tub (originally on the deck). In addition, DCD was to remove an area of river rock around the base of a maple tree and replace it with landscape fabric & rubber mulch, as this area was completely shaded and would not sustain sod growth. The job started on the quoted date, and the crew worked tirelessly all day long on a very warm day. I don't think that they even stopped for a break. A couple of guys removed the deck first, dug out the soil and prepared the base with gravel and tamped it down, Another guy removed the river rock, dug out the dead grass and laid the fabric and the rubber mulch. Delip supervised the whole thing and took responsibility to ensure the base was completely level before applying the patio stones. I couldn't believe that this whole job was completed in one day. It turned out great and I am very pleased with the result! I would have given 5 stars except that the large debris bin remained in my driveway for several days after the job was completed, even though I followed up with DCD a couple of times to have it removed. I think that it was a communication breakdown between DCD and there bin contractor. However, I would definitely recommend them for future work! My old steel garage door was showing it's age - about 40 years -, so a new door was in order. I contacted a couple of garage door companies to arrange quotes for replacement. Whitby Garage Doors was quick to respond, and their representative was very knowledgeable, professional and pleasant, providing a detailed and competitive quote. I prefer to support companies that are within my community if possible, so chose Whitby Garage Doors to complete the work. Of course, the current situation regarding material shortages affected the delivery date for the door, which ended up being about 16 weeks or so. As soon as the door was available, I was contacted to arrange an installation date. Work was completed very efficiently as well. The installers did a great job; clean up was excellent, and they explained maintenance of the door to me before leaving. As per the contract, capping was completed about 2 weeks later. The finished product looks great; certainly improved curb appeal and modernized the look of the house! I would certainly recommend Whitby Garage Doors to anyone requiring a garage door replacement.

If you are thinking about replacement windows & doors for your house; it would be my recomendation to go with Consumers Choice. I used them about 2 years ago to replace my large dining room window and my kitchen window. I wanted to get them back to do the rest of the windows & patio door, so called them up for a quote. I also got a couple other quotes as well. It tirns out that one other company was a bit less expensive for the same type of windows. Because I wanted to use Consumers Choice again, I thought I would advise them of the other quote. They were more than happy to work with me on the price. They really do have a committment to customer satisfaction. Once the contract was signed, they came and final measured the windows and then called to arrange an installation date. They showed up when they said they would; took their shoes off in the house; used drop clothes to catch any debris; and completely cleaned up after themselves. This installation crew was top notch (and lucky for me - they were the same guys that had installed the dining room & kitchem window a couple years ago). I only WISH that I could caulk like these guys! Once they had finished & cleaned up, they took the time to show me how each different type of window worked as well. The whole installation went off without a hitch & the windows & patio door look great! I am sure that these new windows will make a big difference when the cold weather gets here. Again, if you want a great experience with new windows/doors; right from the salesman through installation - you won't be disappointed in Consumers Choice. I would gladly recomment them to my friends!
