Stay away from this company! Needed our Miele dishwasher repaired. Provided the serial and model number as well as the error, hoping this would mean they would come prepared with the part we needed. The technician diagnosed the problem as the gasket being worn, but he didn't have the part in his truck. We were charged $150 for labour plus cost for parts - $330 - which they were going to order in for us. Didn't hear from them for approx 2 weeks. When I tried calling during this time, no one answered the phone. Finally reached them only to be told that Purolator lost the parts being shipped/they were delivered to a convenience store and they were going to let me know...when? Ordered the parts again, technician came back and put them in. The next morning, the dishwasher was still broken, same error. The owner calls to talk about the purolator mix up, wants to talk about all the steps involved in fixing a dishwasher and then says he will give me a discount on the labor for the 3rd visit. I mentioned to him that the first technician informed me that their policy is free labor if there is a problem with the service within 3 months. He backed off when I reminded him of his policy. A different technician comes (I appreciated them sending their 'best' guy) puts in the new part (a relay) and charges us on the spot like the other technician for $62.00 (cost of the part). I just got a voicemail from his accounting person stating that we owe another $240.00. I am baffled. Try to call but no answer so far. Will try again shortly...

Hello Pam,

Thank you for sharing your views of the situation and breaking it down in a way that will allow us to assess it diligently and improve it in the future.

I would like to help address the situation entirely from the technical perspective as well.

The miele dishwasher displays an error code in a single way. from the perspective of the user it will always say intake/drain and have a flashing light meaning it will look the same regardless of what the real reason for the failure is. In order to get exact error codes; service mode must be accessed which is done by a tech. The first error code was an F11 error representing a drain issue. Once this issue was repaired the technician tested the unit and it did not fault out. He left the dishwasher running to ensure it finishes the cycle and doesn't fail. If it does fail then we would receive a quick call back so that we may act fast. However the dishwasher only failed the next morning when it was used again.

When we arrived on site to assess it further the second error which did not exist on the first visit was an F24 representing a failure in the heating circuit. It is not possible to assess a problem that isn't present at the time of the assessment. The 2 errors are unrelated to each other. We had the parts in stock and we offered not to charge any additional labour as well as provided a partial refund for the first visit reducing the labour of 150 to our service call rate of 95+HST (107.35).

To repair the second error the cost of the parts was 240 and no additional labour was charged.

The dishwashers end result was that it was left operational after the F24 was addressed. It is currently working and fixed.

Regarding part deliveries:

We use Purolator for deliveries as that is the delivery company miele uses by default to ship parts to service providers. All Miele parts come from Germany if not in stock and with the difficulty of moving shipments with the current pandemic, part delivery times have increased in general while the demand for repairs has increased.

We take a lot of pride in our service and in times that things don't work out as planned we do our best to fix them within the means available to us. We would never intentionally have our clients go through a stressful situation.

In this case we only charged a total of $107.35 labour for both error code repairs and the rest of the charges were for parts. The price of this repair is very fair.

We are always working to improve the delivery times and do our best to stay on top of expediting orders. We will continue to work at this and eliminate the kinks as we go.

My husband and I are so impressed with Debora and her team. They make our house spotless. We love coming home after they have been there. This is our second renovation with P&P; our first was a complete basement renovation, which we were beyond happy with. When the time came to fix some other areas of our century home - we didn't need to shop for quotes - we went back to Natanael to scope out the work. In the end we did extensive work to refurbish our back addition, add new main floors, leveling as we went, refurbished bathrooms and added insulation to areas where there was just brick; and a number of other updates as we went. Rafael was our site manager and did a fantastic job, keeping the work on track, on time and on budget - further, Rafael and Natanel were sensitive to how disruptive a renovation can be on a family with a young child and were always accommodating and considerate through out the process to make sure everyone was happy. One tip: I would suggest folks come with a strong initial design or scope of work and then work with P&P to implement it. You bring the ideas, they will help find the way to do it. Bottom line: P&P have consistently delivered excellent work which is on time, on budget, demonstrate strong communication with the owners (us) to make sure there are minimal surprises; and, while they are running a business, you genuinely feel like they have your best interests in mind.

I have never had a better cleaning! Aida and her team came to do the initial clean (before starting a regular bi-weekly service) and our home is just shining. Aida is lovely and the team was very friendly. They cleaned every corner top to bottom. She ensures everything is done well before leaving. She even came by hours after the two other cleaners had started, to spot check and pitch in. She vacuumed, cleaned the mirrors and all the spots left on the floor. The team did an amazing job. I am so happy and will be a return customer.

We hired P&P to do a complete, to the studs renovation of our basement in our 100+ year old house. We interviewed a number of contractors and decided on Natanael and P&P because they were cost competitive, very professional/friendly and supplied numerous references. We have done a number of small renovations and this project was our biggest to date. Natanael and George, our site supervisor, made the whole project easy and enjoyable (as far as a renno goes!). Natanael helped us with the initial design, listed to our feedback and made sure everything was incorporated as we envisioned. Whenever something came up that needed a creative solution – Natanael was able to come up with something that worked – and most importantly – keep us on time and on budget. The crew who was working at our house was also excellent – every tradesperson working at the house was extremely friendly, polite and always conscious of the us and our pets! I was impressed that with each decision we had to make, there was always an emphasis placed on doing things right – and not cutting corners. When we were doing structural changes, moving HVACs and re-doing wiring – this attention to detail and safety was key. Lastly, Natanael really stands behind his work. Whenever something wasn’t quite right or didn’t come out as expected – he would always be positive about our feedback and work to make us happy. 100% we would use P&P for our next project.

Ross and his team were wonderful. During Ross' initial inspection of our basement, he was so knowledgeable, reasonable (didn't come in there to just scare us about mold being present), explained the situation clearly, calmly and offered solutions that would work best. We were in good hands. His pricing is definitely reasonable and very fair. His team came in and were wonderful. They took care to cover up our projector to protect it, carefully moved things that would be in the way, and efficiently, safely, & effectively removed the basement carpets and treated the area to rid it of mold. They cleaned up everything, painted areas that had been scraped, and were so respectful in how they treated our home. I would highly recommend Ross and his team!! Great price, skilled, and reliable!

We ended up not having to install a railing outside of our house, but we were so impressed with the professionalism of this company, I just had to write about them. We promptly received a quote as well as a drawing of what the best plan would be - we were given lots of options on ways to do it - and found one that best suited our needs and price-range. Excellent company!

Patrick was fantastic. He was punctual, friendly, and very knowledgeable. His price was extremely fair and he even fixed a shingle that had come loose at no extra charge. Our house is very tall - a lot of contractors etc are turned off by this. Not Patrick - he did it safely, efficiently, and with expert results. Very impressed. Highly recommend!!!

My family has used Turco persian for years and we have always been very pleased with the results. My husband and I recently had some rugs cleaned and the quality of service was outstanding. The rugs came back looking brand new, and the one that needed repair looks beautiful. Our experience was really positive - hassle-free, friendly, and efficient.
