John was the first to respond to my request for help with this project...literally within an hour of reaching out through Homestars. He made himself available within a day or two for an in person meeting to size up the job and give me a quote. He presented as friendly, engaged, experienced and honest. Once hired, he commenced the job within a day or two. He arrived as planned early in the day and with his hard working partner, got down to business. By the mid afternoon, the job was done and we were enjoying a cool house on a hot day. Everything seems to be working fine. He also cleaned my furnace as requested. Everything was cleaned up. I assume this is how he treats every customer he works with. He was polite and easy to work with from start to finish. I highly recommend Sarman Air.

Oven died after trying to use self clean. Roman arrived on time and efficiently diagnosed the problem as a blown fuse. He quoted me the price of the brand name part to replace. I later did my own research and found a suitable alternative part for less and he was happy to install my part which saved me some significant money. Overall, I was very satisfied with his ability, manner and a successful outcome at a reasonable cost.

We've had Steve repair a clothes washer in the past and more recently, a dish washer. On both occasions, Steve was clear and helpful on the phone. He arrived promptly when he said he would and demonstrated a thorough knowledge of how to repair our appliance. He was friendly but focussed and made the repair competently in less time than I had imagined. The repair has proven to be successful after several months. Thanks for the good workmanship, Steve.

Working with Margarida was excellent in every way. Her professionalism is of the highest order as she efficiently and effectively works with the many variables and details involved in any interior design project. My experience with her was always satisfying. She is an astute listener and I loved the way she capably worked with what I already own, showing me new ways enjoy it, as well as recommending new purchases where needed. Although there is a significant cost for great advice on how to decorate one's home, I always felt it was worth every cent as it saved me a ton of time and indecision. I am more than pleased with the end result and would recommend Margarida's services to anyone interested in achieving a beautifully finished home.

Clear communication from the start. Reasonable cost estimate which was adhered to. Good quality work done in a timely manner with friendly and competent workers. Subtrades organized and scheduled effectively. Respectful and responsive service overall. Would recommend to others.

What started as a promising renovation experience ended badly due to cost over run caused by unfair, excessive charges which were out of synch with the initial contract. When challenged about this discrepancy, Rob gave false information resulting in broken trust and lost respect. Quality of work was inconsistent and several things had to be redone resulting in the project taking much longer than hoped. Some of this could have been avoided if the workers had taken the time to consult with the owner instead of making assumptions. The company seemed top heavy with poor communication and coordination between the different levels of management of the project. Communication with the owners of what to expect and when was poor. To their credit most of the mistakes made were corrected with no further charge although this was in the context of feeling gouged.
