Did not honor the quoted price. Had the same company previously with no issues. When we asked for a breakdown and invoice to pay we were told to pay or we would be taken to court. The amount was initially quoted at $129.95 and we were told to pay $352 with no explanation as to what was added to the scope of work.
Exterior doors - shotty workmanship
In response to Ecoline - I did in fact install the screen door to the product, as I have done with MANY screen doors prior. The fact that the door trim was put together with 6 staples was the reason the whole door and trim fell off. There is no such stated warranty that I had to use Ecoline to put on or provide the screen door. As for calling the service department, I have many, many times contacted the service department, made appointments for a person to come and 'assess' the situation with no one ever showing up. We have purchased over $13,000 worth of doors and windows with Ecoline, to me this is horrible service provided after the fact.

Ecoline doors work very well with many types of screen doors and our technicians are specially trained to install screen doors, which are then always warranted for defects in both product and workmanship. You chose to install the screen door yourself and tempered the door installed by Ecoline, it is unfortunate but we cannot take responsibility for your installation and damages it caused to the already installed product. In the future we suggest you to hire professional technician to do the job, that way the workmanship will be warranted for years to come. In the meantime, please contact our service department as they have been trying to arrange for one time complimentary service to repair the door, but were unable to reach you.
