We live in a high-end secure condominium and needed an experienced and reliable contractor to install a complex mosaic natural stone tile as a kitchen backsplash and install the same tile on our kitchen floor after removing the old tile. After reading the RenoSmart reviews and reviewing the detailed quote we decided to hire Alex and his team. Our condominium has specific rules contractors must follow which were only further complicated by Covid-19 concerns and protocols. All thorough the process communications with Alex was excellent. Workers arrived each day with protectors for our floors and everything required including wearing their face masks all the time they were in our condo. During tile demolition/removal they erected an enclosure complete with air system to contain the dust and debris. At the end of each workday, they did a great job of cleaning up which was much appreciated. We were impressed with the quality of work particularly ensuring the mosaic pattern matched in the corners on the wall and between the floor tiles and the toe kicks. The job also involved leveling the concrete kitchen floor in areas to provide a level and curved transition between the mosaic tile floor and the hardwood floor in the living room. We highly recommend Alex and the RenoSmart team and would also like to thank Eric for his tiling artistry.
