We recently hired AMD Construction to build a mid-sized platform deck for our shed to sit on. After receiving a handful of unreasonable quotes for labour alone, we connected with Alberto who gave us a fair quote for the project. He was incredibly responsive and helpful as we prepped for his arrival and materials arrived when he said they would. The end result is exactly what we wanted because he made sure to take the time to discuss all the design / structure details with myself before starting and shared any need to deviate from the plan and why. I also can't stress how appreciative I am that Alberto arrived when he said he would, was clear about the length of time he needed to complete the project and delivered on time. These qualities alone are a rare find and are worth so much. We have already begun quoting a new project with AMD Construction and will definitely hold onto Alberto's contact for future renovation work planned in our home.

Ben and his team were hired to remove walls in our house, one of which was a 20ft span of load bearing wall. They worked very efficiently and produced great results at a very fair price. The team is very knowledgeable and felt confident in the work that they were doing even though I could not envision how something would get done (i.e. such as fitting a 16ft metal support post from the basement to 1st floor) Even when we encountered issues in the walls, Ben always offered good alternatives and workarounds. We are very satisfied with the work done by Ben and his team and will definitely use them in the future. Would highly recommend.

Steve did all our baseboards, door and window casings with excellent workmanship. He also rebuilt existing cabinetry into a new kitchen island. On top of this, Steve was always willing to offer helpful advice/tips for various projects around the house - as my wife and I are renovation newbies. Aside from the quality of work, Steve is also very personable and is willing to work with your ideas. Lastly, Steve always comes when he says he will and is always on time (a trait we very much appreciate and are seeing less and less these days with other contractors). Would highly recommend Top Shelf Construction!

Robert was a pleasure to deal with. He took samples from several areas of the house that needed testing for asbestos and had the results in the next day. The asbestos abatement and mold removal was done quickly and efficiently and both the sample testing and abatement/removal are at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend.
