Danny at drain care responded immediately via home stars, and within two days was on site for an assessment with his assistant Rob. Rather than order the expensive braided pipes, they suggested I go directly to the supplier, and sure enough they were covered by warranty and we got them free! These guys really do try to save you money!. After the flexpipes arrived, I called Draincare, and again they were there within a couple of. days. After they had finished the job it looked so solid compared to the way it looked before that I felt very comfortable putting the panels back on and sealing it off again. Two weeks later and absolutely no problems. In fact they increase the water pressure by ensuring the pipes were totally open, unlike before. I would highly recommend Danny and Rob for great service, cost saving, and quality of work. Tony H

Ultimate Home Services were recommended to me by PMT Home Services, who I found on Homestars. I had been extremely impressed with PMT (see my reviews), so felt I could trust Ultimate. Jason came to do a (no obligation) estimate, and I feared the worst because of how steep and dangerous my roof is, and this was right at the peak. Jason gave me two options - reconstruct the flat roof portion of my roof , which was leaking like crazy ($2,500), or simply cover it with a membrane ($500). He said it was structurally sound enough that the membrane would hold it for many years, preventing any more leaks from occurring. He also spotted a couple of other places that needed sealing, which he did for no extra charge. I asked him if he could remove a dish/antenna that had been on the house since we moved it. and was ugly. He removed that and disposed of it, again for no charge! So I got an expert, timely repair, leaks fixed I didn't even know I had, and an eyesore removed. all for $500 plus taxes. This company is fast, professional and reasonably priced, so I would highly recommend them for any roofing or other home services, based upon my experience.

We got a couple of quotes, and PMT's was the best. Philip (the owner) showed us how our (original) eavestroughs were configured relative to the neighbors. We didn't realize ours were the only original eavestroughs left, and how poorly they were laid out, with resulting damage to our foundations. So the upgrade was long overdue. Philip reconfigured the layout of the eaves and dramatically improved the flow of rainwater - which got a really good workout New Year's Eve! Philip and his team were helpful, professional, worked non-stop in pretty cold weather, and we got a full tour at the end of the job, which took just over 5 hours for a 3,200 ft2 house with a full walkout and only a partial deck to use for the ladders. So they needed a 4 man crew, and they worked like clockwork. We're extremely happy with their work, and their pricing, and would recommend their services highly to anyone.

Wow -a really professional company. Who knew barbecue cleaning/service was operated at this level? Instant responses to every question, followup calls where necessary, just what the other reviews indicated. Pedro was the gentleman carrying out the cleaning and service analysis, and he worked right through some miserable weather - we would have been fine if he'd postponed. The end result was what the company advertized - a brand new looking bbq (that we had bought secondhand last summer for a bargain) - and will be proud to show off preparing our summer dinner parties.

Three Little Pigs have done work for us before, but I hadn't rated them, although their work was excellent at that time, reinforcing the brickwork and sills under our pod/turret. This time we had a leak in the walkout apartment wall, and there was a torrential rainfall forecast for the next evening 3LP (Dave, the boss) were amazing - they responded immediately with a quote, and started the very next morning, sealing the leak and doing a highly professional repair. Although the rain didn't materialize, we have no more fear of leaks! Thank you Dave and Joel (father and son mason team) for a job very well done.

I first used Strong Plumbing (Valentin) almost 2 years ago, and neglected to write a review. He was fast, direct (I would even say blunt!) about the challenges, and what he was going to do to fix it. It was a very difficult installation because of the lousy job done by the previous owner, but Valentin fixed it quickly and professionally, and bang on his estimate. The results have stood the test of time - no problems 2 years later. Fast forward to last Spring (yes, I'm catching up on my reviews) and I called him in to my parents place to replace an original (25 year old) kitchen faucet. Same old Valentin - reliable, fast, to the point, and professional. Again, right on estimate. I'm considering a new kitchen and Valentin will definitely be the first guy I call for the plumbing work UPDATE: We had a burst pipe in the basement, leading to the exterior faucet, and we called Antonin right away. He was there the next day, and had the job finished, with additional features to ensure it wouldn't happen again, within a couple of hours. Again, an expert job. Call Antonin first!

We worked with the Deck Guys to design a walkout (2nd level) deck with privacy screening and glass panel lookout over a conservation area. They added a superbly designed "invisible" stairway. The end result was spectacular! The workmanship was meticulous, the quality was superb and the end product is our dream deck. We added a new sliding screen door and put in a new top of the line barbecue, and we could easily fit 30 people - and we plan to the first chance we get. Great job Deck Guys and thank you! I am very late posting this, for which I apologize. The attached pictures were taken before the glass panels were installed. which took a few weeks longer as they were specially ordered.

We called George (top of the Homestars recommended list) when we bought a new natural gas grill and found that the line installed by the previous owners of the home was not working. Despite a heavy workload, George managed to meet our request to come before dinner hour, out of his main area, so we could use our new BBQ for dinner that night. We would highly recommend George (Gas Guys) to anyone with Gas Appliance problems. He was fast, effective, helpful and inexpensive. Thanks for a great job, George!

Fantastic service, right on time (actually well ahead of time as it was a custom order). We immediately recommended EFGD to my wife's mother, who just had them repair her old double door, so I'm writing for her too. Both garage doors are now in top shape. I called Gates in (just lucky, not a referral) when a family of Raccoons took over our attic. Tony quickly blocked all exits (and entrances, and set a one-way trap to ensure the critters couldn't get back in once they left. We were delighted with the result. 18 months later, we realized we had been re-invaded, by much smaller critters who had ingeniously found their way around the wire barriers originally erected by Gates and removed a small section of soffit. Within 2 days we had the owner himself examining all the previous work, installing a new (much smaller) one-way exit trap, at a minimal charge, despite the fact we hadn't elected to take the additional year warranty. Rarely have I experienced the depth of customer service provided by Gates. Reputation is everything, and Gates takes this business very, very, seriously. If you have a problem with wildlife, PLEASE do yourself a favor and call Gates.
