Cabinet installation ,bedroom door installation, some plaster and painting
Definitely Amir has communication issue due to language barrier , he brought his wife as interpreter and my GF meet them at the property to explain what needs to be done and get a quote , she indicated specifically that she is gonna buy IKEA cabinet and asked Amir to install it beside some other little stuff such as bedroom door installation , basement kitchen floor painting ,some left over furniture removal from the house ,Amir and his wife quoted the Job slightly ( ~500$) cheaper than other contractor and took the job He start the job on time , did all the little stuff till we got cabinet delivered from IKEA to the house , as soon as he saw the boxes of IKEA asked us , is this the cabinet !!! He said he didnt know that The IKEA cabinet comes inside the boxes !!! ( what kind of contractor doesn’t know that the IKEA ‘s stuff always comes disassembled ) . He insist that doesn’t want to instal the cabinet due to lack of knowledge how to assemble the boxes , i found a guy who was willing to assemble the boxes for extra 300$ ,he didnt want to pay and i said ok i will pay that 300$ just to make it work !! Then he said he has someone else to instal the cabinet and he is comfortable dealing with him , i gave a go ahead because i just want to finish the job and send him out of my sight , long story short , their installation cost me 600$ extra ( initial quote was 5000$) , total paid 5600$ They installed the kitchen so bad that doors are not lined up and gaps are different , left the water leaking and destroyed the floor of sink cabinet , came back and patched it, bedroom door installed so bad that was not closing ,he fixed but not 100% , over all NEVER EVER RECOMMEND OR GIVE AMIR ANY CONTRACT i hope my honest review could help you for your next project not to hire a brand new inexperienced person like Amir .( written on Dec 31/2020) Here i am back !!! I wrote this review on Dec 31/2020 On Jan 1 /2021 at 2 pm he called me on the phone on fire that why i wrote my review !!!!!! Amir if you dont know how to do things , dont put ad in home star !!! If you do you should know that customer have the right to express their experience with your transaction !! Past few days i am trying to contact HOME STARS office to see if people like me are allowed to express their experience with their contractor or not !!! but no answer from Home stars office and home star trying to reject my review !!!

While we care about our clients and looking forward to hear their feedback to always improve our services, unfortunately this review is not from a client of ours and we never had any contract with this person. Looks like he is someone who referred us to a home owner and he wanted to get pay for it. He black mailed us over the phone to pay him or he would write negative review. He obviously is not a home owner since he don't know that it's not renovation company's job to assemble IKEA furniture. We are a construction/renovation company not IKEA assembly company. This person is fake and has other agendas. Homestar should not allow people with no proof of contract/purchase with their name on it to post reviews on companies.
Bottom line this review is fraud. We never had any contract with this person. He is someone with personal issues that goes on Homestar and write hateful reviews for companies with no proof of contract to black mail businesses. We already reported this review to home star.
