Neil provided a reasonable estiamte, was very flexible and was able to accomodate our schedule. He provided different options for ways to complete the project and did quality work. Would highly recommned him and will use him again!
Had a bit of a plumbing emergency on christamas eve day. Went to purchase a toilet with very specific dimesnions as it was to go into an older home where plumbing was not standard. Staff were not helpful and despite questioning the dimensions on the prticular toilet they receommended we were assurred that it would fit the specifications given. Got it home and it wouldn't even come close to fitting. Had to wait to return it as holidays interferred. Arranged with the store to pick it up but they never arrived. Ended up speaking with the master plummer who maintained that "it should have fit" despite the fact that it didn't. Not impressed with the knowledge of employees or help given.
Installation of new gas fireplace
Inital impressions were good. We were asked to choose top three picks of stone and ecouraged to go with the particular stone that "was in stock in the warehouse" as we were on a timeline. We waited and waited and with each phone call there was a different excuse about why it was taking so long. Eventually workers arrived and the stone was our 3rd pick and we discoverd that there was no "warehouse" - guessing the stone that was ordered was likley the most expensive, The staff were fabulous and did excellent work. A second visit was a different crew that did work that required a third visit to fix becasue it wasn't done properly. Then we discoverd that the company went ahead and charged our credit card before the work was completed and permission was given to do so. I checked with police and apparently this isn't illegal but certainly isn't a good buisness practice for anyone that would like a referrence. My concerns were treated like everything else - an annoyance - and excuses provided.
