Mujo and his team were great. He came by to look at what I wanted done, and gave me a competitive quote. He removed the old laminate kitchen floor, and prepped and installed porcelain tiles. I was home sick that week, and he communicated with me regularly to let me know what was happening. Mujo was a pleasure to work with, and was accommodating to my wishes. He went above and beyond by picking up my tiles for me since I didn't own a car. He also picked up and added in quarter round to meet my needs. I would highly recommend Mujo and his team. They came in on time and on budget. I was very happy with the end result.

Gil and his team went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. When our original painter we lined up fell through at the last minute, we looked to Home Star to find someone who had good reviews, was competitively priced, and was available within 48 hours just the week before Christmas to start and complete our job before the holidays, so we could move in. After Gil and I spoke earlier in the day, he made the trek downtown to look at the place and what we wanted to do, to give us a quote. This meant a lot to me. He was flexible to what we wanted, and able to arrange the team to meet our tight deadline. Once completed, Gil walked me through what they had done, and did any touch ups I asked for (and I can be a tough judge). It was no small feat. The walls had some large holes to be patched, no less than 3 dozen picture frame hooks in the wall to repair. We also have lots of closets, so not just straight wall painting. I'm sure the prepping of walls took more time than the painting, which is what sets good painters apart from the great ones, which Gil is (the prep is the hardest part in my opinion). Gil finished on time, and on budget, and was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him and his team. He'll definitely remain in my Rolodex.
