I am truly discouraged and saddened to get this kind of review from Glenn. He has been a valuable yearly client of ours since 1996. In this time he has invited us to his home 15 times in 15 years to maintain his drinking water system. This is hardly indicative of someone who doesn't have faith in our expertise.
There's a great expression that applies to any kind of business: “There will always be issues to deal with - but it's how you deal with those issues that count”. I make a concerted effort to run my business in this fashion. So when we found out that Glenn was having a problem with the volume from his system I sent someone out to him immediately.
Very occasionally water filters will clog prematurely. This is often due to work on the municipal water mains and we can't prevent this. The technician came back from Glenns house with the following notes: "Troubleshoot Pressure, Pulled & Changed filters, pulled membrane, sanitized and flushed system, changed flow restrictor to green, tested auto shut off 3 times, advised customer to drain and let fill again 3x and then bring a sample to store. All is working properly." Glenn never brought us a sample.
When we called Glenn to follow up he still complained that his water still did not taste right. During this phone call I made the following set of notes: "Spoke with him over the phone. Agreed to refund his credit card. He is going away for a few days and will call us when he gets back. Dave will then go to his house and test the water the ascertain if the system is working properly." Glenn never called back to arrange for me to visit his home.
We really did everything we could to help Glenn with his issue and to rate us so poorly is nothing short of discouraging and I believe unfair. This review is truly not indicative of the service either myself or any member of the Watermart Team provide.
