Let me start by saying I was skeptical that any tree removal company could have such a high rating in Homestars. After using Toronto Tree Removal, I can confirm that they did an amazing job! Over the years, I have contracted with three other Toronto big name companies - but without a doubt, Aaron and his team are far more superior. Our 70 year tree suffered severe damage during a wind storm. Aaron helped me work with the city to get approval to get the tree removed. The quote they provided was fair and reasonable. Aaron's team showed up on time, did the job and did an amazing job cleaning up. Their entire team was also very professional and courteous. Save yourself time and give Aaron a call if you need an arborist.

We have used Modern Appliance for years. Most recently, my aging downdraft stove stopped working. I was faced with the 'fix of replace' challenge. Peter was amazing. He walked me through my options and I ended up deciding to fix the stove. Peter diagnosed the problem quickly and was able to fix the problem at a very fair price. We interviewed four landscape companies before we chose Land Effects. Keith and his team were extremely professional and listened to our ideas. Keith was very patient and designed a complete overhaul of our backyard. The design made great use of the space and the quality of the finished product was amazing. We transformed a backyard to an oasis with an outdoor bar and gas fireplace. We now consider our backyard as another room in the house. We think so highly of Keith and his team that we continue to recommend him to our friends and neighbours and we have also asked Keith to do the front yard in the spring.

UPDATE : 7 months later Oct 23 2012 In our original review, we wrote about how well Jay and his team delivered on his commitments and the high quality of the project. I just recently noticed something I wanted fixed with a section of the fascia. I called Jay and he came over and we reviewed it together. Jay called the roofers and they quickly came over and fixed the problem. This was a small issue, but Jay recognized it was important to us. Elite's ongoing commitment to customer service and quality continues to impress us. When you partner with a contractor, you look for value for your money, integrity, creativity and responsiveness. The Elite Team exceeded our expectations in all these areas. We renovated a very old home and we knew our house would be challenging. Jay took the time to ensure we agreed on our plan and then he executed exactly to that plan. The other aspect we really appreciated from Elite is there was no upselling pressure. Many contractors will pressure you into expanding the scope of the project or they will 'surprise' you with additional costs. The Elite team were extremely professional and worked to the plan we all agreed to without upselling or surprises. When the project was done, Jay finished on time and on budget. All our questions after the reno have been addressed quickly and accurately. We will continue to recommend Jay and his team to everyone.
