One of the spring of my garage door broke and Orlando from Markham garage doors was able to come the same day. He described what he would do: replace the broken springs, inspect the ties, rollers and replace as needed and check the doors functioning. He fixed both the springs promptly and got the garage functioning in no time. He could not oil the entire system since he was running short on the lubricant. The price for all that work was less than what I had expected. Good job Homestars reviewers or pointing out a great company!

Andrej was absolutely fantastic . Since one of the bath fans was a new installation he spent a lot of time planning the work and completed it perfectly. Great workmanship and pride in his work and great product knowledge as well. I would highly recommend him.

I was amazed at the incompetence of Mr. Handyman. I intitially got a quote of 1.5 hours for the 3 tasks in my house. Not even one task out of the three was completed and after 1.5 hours I was given a bill of $250. The tasks were pretty simple and included installing a light fixture, reinstalling range hood and installing 2 tiles with a glue with no grout work. The fixture was half installed and the technician drilled multiple holes in the new cabinet of my brand new kitchen and still could not line up the screws to fix the hood. He almost sat on my glass top stove to do the work and had I not stopped he may have broken the glass on my cook stove. I can do a better job than Mr. Handyman. Since I did not want to pick a fight with the technician, I paid the invoice and immediately called the office who said that they will investigate and get back to me. Its been 3 days and I have not heard from them. I am absolutely dissapointed at the quality of service that I received from Mr. Handyman. I had read the reviews before engaging them but my experience was not good at all. I will engage someone else to complete the unfinished work. Update On June 1, 2016 : I was contacted by the Company and they have offered me a full refund. The 4 stars are for the customer service.

My last roofer did not do not a good job and did not install drip edge with the result animals were trying to get into the attic. I called Roofrepair who diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away at a reasonable price. The installer was professional who took pictures before and while he was on the roof he did some necessary caulking which was not part of the contract. Truly amazing! The Company is Professional, easy to work with and offering superb customer service, i would recommend them again. I especially like their detailed report at the end complete with images. Felt comfortable with what they reported and the work they did.

We had a mother racoon move into the eaves of our garage with babies. We called the owner Friday afternoon when we discovered this problem and he offered to come same day. He arrived promptly and found a humane way to remove the 4-5 babies and the mother. The owner and his son were very pleasant to deal with, they were effective and efficient. I would use this company again without hesitation

I engaged A1 Quality Chimney to sweep the two chimneys. Shawn came in to complete the job. Shawn told me that only one Chimney needs cleaning and did a professional job.

Purchased 2 coupon for chimney cleaning through Groupon along with Eaves cleaning. The guy came in and cleaned 2 chimneys and entire eaves in 30 min. I asked him how he cleaned the two chimney's without any debris falling down in my fire place. He said thats how we do it. Stay away from the Company.

I looked at a few companies on home stars. I invited quotes from them including Mark from Envirotech. What I liked about Mark was that he explained everything in simple terms and that gave me a feeling that he had adequate product knowledge. I mentioned to him that I was getting some pot lights installed and he recommended the best way to do that. Since my exisiting contractor wanted to take shortcuts, I engaged Mark and his team to install a few pot lights as well. He also looked at a few of my electrical problems and gave some suggestions on the spot. His quote was one of the lowest . He and his associate came when expected and completed the work (electrical work & installation of pot lights, cellulose insulation ) in a day. They cleaned up professionally and I expect a more comfortable home. in the near future. I would highly recommend Envirotech.
