TLDR version: They were kind, professional, experienced, and efficient. They did a great job. I would hire them again and I would recommend them to anyone seeking electrical work. I needed a service panel upgrade in preparation for an EV charger, to be installed later, from 100Amps to 200Amps. Greg contacted me promptly through the HomeStars Service Request site, and set up an initial meeting for a quote. He arrived early for that meeting and and was able to give a complete quote along with some free advice after only 10 minutes even though 3o minutes were scheduled for the appointment. He was nice, answered all of my questions, and even gave me some free advice. I received quotes from other electricians but they were not as thorough, which made me hire Groves for this job. The office staff were kind and also dealt with the utility directly, saving me some of the hassle. On the day of the install, Dave and one other technician arrived, early, and got everything ready for the upgrade while waiting on the utility to shut the service off. They also brought a generator Once the utility arrived, the technicians worked quickly and efficiently while answering some of my questions. They were finished in just over 4 hours and were very thorough. They even tested and labelled the new panel accurately, making any future electrical work much easier and safer. I would choose them again for future electrical work I need and I would highly recommend them to others.

This review is about a pre-purchase home inspection. Trying to schedule an inspection over a summer weekend was difficult. We tried several local inspectors, and none answered their phones on a Saturday mid-morning. At that point, 4 Sight was recommended to us by our lawyer and not only did Michael answer right away, he was able to fit us in for the coming Monday. Michael did a great job on our pre-purchase home inspection. He arrived right on time and began the inspection promptly. He answered all of my questions, there were a lot, and also tested the appliances, which my real estate agent was surprised to see. He advised us on minor issues in the home, explained how to tell major from minor issues as well as timeframe estimates for having to replace appliances and other parts of the home. With all this information, we were able to make a fully informed decision. We could not be happier with the service and would highly recommend Michael and 4 Sight Inspections in the future. Our real estate agent was quite impressed and took cards for future referrals.
