We contacted Craig and had him come over to discuss our ideas on what we wanted to do and relied on him for his advice and expertise. He said that he would make sure what isnt right would be made right. I have to say we didnt do our due diligence and got burned for it. Without going into details, he left without completing the job and told us to take him to small claims court. When a home owner has to ask him to put in GFI's, tell him that the shower basin they put in was not 90 degrees, warped cabinet doors on a custom made island, and a conspicuous placement of the waterline to the toilet, his quality is certainly lacking. Dont get taken in like we did. Do your homework.

There is always two sides to a situation. I did up a contract for this job and as we proceeded with no permit as per the customers instructions we successfully changed a load bearing wall just to open up the kitchen area. There were many changes and additionals to this job which I charged nothing. I know all the codes well enough thankyou , the city inspector whom met with this customer then called me and confirmed ALL details about the job including electrical,plumbing and structural . No fines nor court actions were enforced(or proceeded) as my company did all the work as best possible given the direction provided to us by this customer. Unfortunately this customer did not agree to pay anything for any extras and thus the conflict.It had nothing to do with quality of workmanship.

We live in bungalow with 1.5 bathrooms. Our full bathroom upstairs recently had a toilet leak on the weekend. Every time you flushed, there would be a stream of water leaking in the basement. Our bathroom was renovated about a year ago by a poor contractors with shoddy workmanship. Almost 1 year to the day, our leak developed. Our neighbour is in the carpet and flooring business recommended Steve. His answering machine tells you the day he is available. He returns his calls which is obviously important. He had to replace the wax ring. However, he noticed that it didnt seal properly and ran out to get a gasket. He communicates well, clean and personable. The cost was reasonable. We are extremely happy with his work and would highly recommend him. We wished we had known him before we re did our bathroom. I would strongly recommend him to our family and friends.
