We have used Roofworks Ltd. twice. First, we had a leak near our skylight. Jason from Roofworks came quickly and provided us three estimates for varying levels of fix. We selected one and they began work very quickly. I also asked them to let me know if they saw anything that would indicate I should investigate about any serious internal water damage and they were happy to do so. I think it was only 2 days - they were in and out without any fuss and minimal impact to us. Told me there was no significant water damage inside, as it was just some snow/ice blowing up under the shingles. Not had a problem since. Later when we were having new windows installed in the solarium, the window folks found there was significant damage to the roofed portion so I called roofworks and they were there and fixed within a day. After the (below) window work went sour, with winter setting in I asked Jason about roofing the room and he suggested a plan that worked for me where the window folks would build the supporting structure allowing him to manage just the actual roofing portion and he could tie that into the warranty for the previously completed portion, and built in eavestrough even though there was a difference in height for the two areas. Even my neighbours were impressed with the Roofworks employees professionalism, speaks highly to the team Scott has put together.

This is a review for service in 2013, but we called Steve again recently about our fridge and it reminded me he really deserves a great review. Steve is the best appliance guy we have dealt with. He is extremely helpful by providing as much information as he can so you can make the most informed decision. He is honest and open about the entire process and it is very refreshing. Back in 2013 was the same thing as our recent experience. Back then we decided it was worth having Steve visit to fix our washer. He was quick, efficient and his rates are reasonable. This time around, the information he provided gave us pause so we have some thinking to do. All around just great service. If you have issues with an appliance, call Steve Brannan

We needed to replace the side and roof windows in our solarium. Frank from Clera Windows gave us an estimate using their argon filled windows we selected thinking of the insulating factor. Unfortunately it did not go great. There were some missed time frames, although Franks communication was fairly good. Once the installation was complete the windows looked fantastic - however we almost immediately noticed leaking from the roof windows. It turns out the windows selected were not suitable for that type of installation. There followed a couple weeks of leaking, phone calls back and forth, etc. Frank was honest and took full accountability from the get go, but it was still a very stressful time. In the end, we decided since there was already a portion of actual roof which was repaired by our preferred roofers during the original install - combined with a requirement for commercial grade windows on the roof (for which a timeframe to complete was not simple) with wet/cold/winter weather beginning - and considering our original home inspector suggested these types of windows in the roof of a solarium always cause problems; we decided to roof over the entire solarium and requested Clera to pay for our roofers to do it so the insurance could be from a single company - to which they obliged to make it right. In the end, Clera made it right and stood behind their reputation. Although it obviously would have been nicer to not have to deal with this mistake and it wasn't exactly what we intended, they did their bit and you can trust they will not leave you in a lurch.

I was super impressed with Anthony and his team. I had to be at work during the time they came to make the install and they had no problem speaking to me after my wife called and answering all my questions. Got home and the installation looks amazing - all our family and friends have been very vocal about how nice it looks. Additionally - these guys go above and beyond the call of duty. I contacted them twice after the install; - First time because after they had programmed our remotes for us - the volume didn't work on the Bell Fibe remote. Anthony responded quickly with links to instructions and re-doing the remote <-> tv connection fixed the issue. - Second time because I couldn't find the HDMI cables that should have been left over - he replied without any grief over being bothered and his helpful response reminded me to check a location I wouldn't have thought about (where we stored the TV stand base that is no longer in use) Why wouldn't I use these guys again? I dunno - out of locale only IMO!

I could not have been more pleased with the quality of service provided by Firemen Movers. They really strive to keep the customer in mind and as happy as possible. I scheduled a move in late December. Office staff (Doug & Janice) were always helpful and responsive. The movers arrived 15 mins early and scoped out the move. Within exactly 2 hours from the moment we had the elevator in service every single item in the condo was disassembled if required, wrapped (protective & saran where applicable) and on the truck. Within another two hours, every single item was in the house - in the correct room, assembled where required and unwrapped. The guys doing the move were the image of professionalism and at the same time were friendly and outgoing. They managed to keep the move at the minimum required number of hours and smiled the entire time. I could not see myself choosing any other company for a move, thanks again Firemen Movers!
