Recently purchased a floor model thermadore dishwasher, panel ready. All parts for the panel were on the dishwasher when purchased at store and the salesman in Mississauga promised everything but the current panel would be delivered and promised it would be like new. When the dishwasher was delivered it was missing the panel assembly kit - the panel is a necessity to run the dishwasher properly. Assuming the store would be able to quickly order and send the parts at no cost ($58 including shipping when I called the manufacturer), CAS advised that there is an as-is policy with the dishwasher and they will not order the parts and I will have to pay. The salesman did not point out concerns with the as is policy and was quick to assure me everything would be there. Please note that all parts missing were on the assembly at time of purchase and the panel parts are required for proper dishwasher use. In my time following up with the parts request, I found the salesperson was quick to shove the problem off to the parts department and advised I needed to contact them on my own, the team is trying to avoid any costs by claiming that the panel may not have been on the washer in the store - all to save $58 and not pay a person who spent over $4300 at CAS over the past two months. Note - they did - after much questioning and argument advise they would provide a $20 credit which I ended up refusing and asked for the full amount. I will not work with Canadian appliance again or recommend them. Update - While Canadian appliance did reply to this review on another platform re-stating the as is policy - they failed to discuss the issue with the fact that all necessary pieces were on the model in store and their response does not align with their as-is policy. Regarding the delivery sign-off, when you have delivery teams unmasked - it makes the inspection quick when it arrived as you want to get them out the door and as a family with two very young children. Sorry CAS, but you failed hard here.

Michael did an excellent job recommending windows to replace our exiting windows. We brought in a number of companies to provide recommendations and prices and Ambia had the knowledge/experience we were looking for. We have some sound issues (bus stop outside of the house - and a busy street) and it was recommended that we use laminated glass to provide additional sound attenuation - which cannot be achieved by using triple pane vs. double pane windows as the increased sound attenuation is achieved by varying the thickness of the glass and thickness of the air space between the glass - not the number of glass panels. Having said this, he was right. Now that the windows are in there is a quite a noticeable difference - and we do not even need a "white noise" to drown the street sounds out when we are sleeping. In addition to the above the installers were very courteous and professional. Thanks Ambia.
