Cosmopolitan has been our trusted HVAC company since 2008 when they installed our new furnace, AC unit and duct work. The subsequent service that Ather Hasan has provided seasonally has been exceptional. He is considerate in calling to confirm appointment time and punctual with his schedule. He is thorough in his service checklist and considerate in minimizing disruptions. His professionalism is unmatched. Today he gave me advice on how to ensure carbon monoxide detectors be properly maintained or replaced every two years. He consistently exceeds my expectations and is always welcome in our home.

Arshad helped us yet again - this time with our hot water heater which broke down on the weekend. CMS is fast, reliable and always professional with your home's heating and cooling needs.

Arshad rehauled the HVAC on our home in 2008 and installed both a new natural gas furnace and air conditioning units. After experiencing a concern with our AC unit last summer, Arshad referred our Air Conditioning issue to a specialist who expertly diagnosed the malfunction and serviced it back in May before the summer heat set in. The expert service and professionalism with Arshad continues and I would thoroughly recommend him to anyone.

After moving ourselves countless times, we decided to enlist the help of professional movers this time. I was impressed by the ratings Tom Trucker had received on Homestars, so pursued booking them for our move on Jan 31, 2008. Although their vehicle had broke down early in the morning, they still managed to rent a new truck and make it to our appointment only slightly late - and we were notified of this ahead of time by the office. The team was extermemly careful with all of our stuff, and did an exceptional job packing delicate furniture in plastic and/or blankets and ensured everything fit in one trip (we are a couple with 2 small kids so have lots of stuff). They were mindful of our newly renovated home and didn't scratch any walls or floors, and moved heavy items down a narrow staircase to the basement without complaint. Our only regret is that we tried to move some of our "Valuables" ourselves and didn't get them to do it instead. Next time, I would leave it all to the professionals at Tom Trucker.

Gino was enlisted to help us make some cosmetic changes to our newly purchased "older" home. The job soon ballooned into a much bigger project than we initially anticipated due to the run down state of the building. Throughout the process Gino helped advise us and offered thoughtful and creative solutions to some of the problems we encountered. He charged us a fair price for the work that was done, and was extremely reliable in finishing the job on a tight timeline. From this experience we would recommend others obtain a consultation with Stumpo Contracting.

Tom drove out to the West end twice to give us an estimate during the "craziest" time of the year, and managed to complete our roof before the first snow storm. His crew was courteous to consider our neighbours vehicles and asked them to move them (something we overlooked) before starting the job. Our lot was left spotless, and our roof looks great. After completing the job, Tom was available to help us with a couple of follow-ups that we accidentally overlooked, and helped us get them taken care of (vents and eavestroughs).

Arshad came to give us an estimate and his expertise on solving our home's HVAC issues both promptly and professionally . He guided us through the process by advising us of the advantages of a heat loss study and various goverment inspections to maximize potential reimbursement. He was always receptive to our requests of positioning of vents for design purposes. He ended up starting and finishing our job earlier than expected, and as a result allowed us to gain time in our renovation - and now our house is finally warm everywhere! We will definitely seek out his service again for future projects.
