We were looking for a roofer that could prep our roof for the worst Ontario winters of mixed heavy snow, freezing rain with high winds and ice build up from mid winter thawing.
We chose Bart’s because 2 of our neighbours hired them last year and they both raved about their work. They has no issues with ice damming this past winter at all.

Dan, the foreman, also helped us choose vents that bring our roof up to current code and prevent ice damming along eavestrough, and around bathroom and kitchen fan exhausts. They also used nails that hold up to high winds. All of these features together make us feel safe from the elements now.
Dan and his team worked hard (and in high winds) to finish our 50s bungalow roof before a rainstorm hit, and they still took the time to do a thorough clean up of our patios and yard, leaving them looking BETTER than before they started.
We were truly impressed by the genuine pride they took in their work, the respect they showed for our home and yard and the kindness they showed our dog (the real head of the household).
